Agree, PRIVATE messages should not be posted on a PUBLIC forum. Save the admins some headache, they have more things to do then ban you, are verrrrrry busy.

Also untrue. There is no player here with 5-6 complaints. Maybe he played cheesy in 5-6 matches, I don't know, but we can't do anything if people don't let us know when someone plays cheesy.

And making statements like this, and the one Moralspain quoted, could easily be considered as an insult towards management and the host team.

Thanks for this!

AL

Since that he got 2 complaints in 2 matchs
Nothing happens.

Who are you talking about?

If your opponent found to be cheating or cheesing, depending on how many complaints he has against him, he can be either suspended for a period of time, banned all together, or the least of all - made to replay the match with a strong warning not do this again (if this is his first offense). Of course if warnings are ignored suspensions and banns will follow.

I can also use the provided videos to further illustrate what is allowed and what is not at ITST for other members, and new members.

Hi,
maybe it will be a good idea to show us the video you used for suspending Berson? As you said, it can help us to understand what is allowed and what is not?

I don't say that Berson being suspended is not deserved, it's just to see what happened and to help me to avoid ban.

Thanks!

The video proved that MrBerson's complaint was false, so there's really nothing cheesy to see.

A video that proved someone actually was playing cheesy would be a much better example.

Hi, maybe it's because english is not my native tongue but I understood on this thread (http://www.intertopspintour.net/forum/v ... hp?t=15635) that Berson did something wrong particularly in this sentence:

Djarvik wrote:Upon review of the recording, not only his complaint was completely made up, but he himself is breaking the rules in that video.

That's why I asked to see the vids.

If you are going to quote me, do so in full:

djarvik wrote:Bottom line - he submitted a complaint about a player, that player happened to record a match and submit a video evidence to us. Berson's complaint was VERY specific. Upon review of the recording, not only his complaint was completely made up, but he himself is breaking the rules in that video. Hence he is suspended for 2 weeks.

Submitting false reports as well as false match scores are the worst violations in ITST.

We are also extremely taken back but what is happening in French Davis cup thread. Not only there are insults being posted to Host and members, but we have also revived complaints from French speaking members about that thread. We are looking into the matter now, site and forum violations will be addressed.

Now that I have answered original question in this thread, I will close it. Any further threads on the subject of Bersosn's suspension (not ban) will be locked or deleted.

If you thought I was joking - you were wrong.
