Using saved data on another disc?!possible or not?

Hello guys,
Just noticed some huge scratches on my TS4 disc (no surprise i use it the most) and i wont be surprised if it will stop working soon (i already experienced some weird freezing ) so im preparing myself to buy another TS4 game, but would i be able to use my saved data on the new disc?
i mean..career, my online player for world tour,trophies..etc! can i have them all or not?

I think it should just read your saved data automatically since the saves stay on the PS3. To be on the safe side though put a USB stick in, then in your PS3 menu go to the game data and saved data utilities and copy your saved files over. You can just copy them back across again if you get any problems.

Im pretty sure it will be fine, Ive used loads a different disks on mw2 as it saves to the ps3 nothing to fo with disk

so it seems i will be safe! ahh i hate buying the same stuff twice! i even bought 2 PS3...
btw Tamthewasp..what do you do with your MW2 discs that you used loads of different discs? :lol:

Yes 100 % sure it will work!!

The save data are on your PS3, and you can put in every copy of TS4 existing in the world, and you will have your save data safe

I traded mw2 in twice, bought it back again twice an borrowed it from a couple a m8s a few times, so think it was like 6 different copies in all.
