Roger Federer

Talk about anything related to the ATP and WTA tours.

Here's another big forehand by Federer, on a big point (I know it's one of Jon's favorites):

But this is probably my all time favorite (by Pete, of course). This probably wouldn't be possible with the lighter racquets used today:

hopefully hingis see sense and accepts rogers offer to play mixed doubles with fed im mean if he asked kuznestova or Serena they would play with him.say yes even if they were retired. Im mean it's roger Federer besides play fed cup and tour matches for a decent ranking what is there to consider

These videos makes me cry! i remember all those matches, all those points....damn!!! tennis without Roger will never be the same.
btw..whenever i watch Roger, i feel a bit better about Top Spin4!
I hope he win the USO, he definitely can win it if he brings his best( ex: FO semis against Djokovic)
Edit: just wanted to add this..i usually don't trust Roger's backhand , especially if its against Nadal's powerfull top spin shots + in a bad position= fault..I just dont know how he hit that backhand on champ point!!! i was happy as he won the match after that shot.

I still don't write Roger off.

It's coming somewhat to an end. But he still plays rather good but he lost focus along the way. Hitting the wrong shots at the wrong moment.
I think he will make another short ( maybe one ) slam run.And win it.
He is playing bad for his standards. But he will improve again. Paul made him adjust stuff.
I honestly think Roger has too much talent. Didn't have to think much about what he got. He trained for it and it came to him.
Now that things are a bit out of balance he doesn't know how to fix it.
With Paul he is getting somewhat back to learning and it takes time to find a balance.
Rafa on the other hand is a worker. Although I think that when Rafa will lose his legs he won't be able to keep up . He won't lose his timing as quickly as Roger does at the moment in his shots.

Anyways just staying positive  He'll be back. A last push . Last focus for the kids.
