What's with people running around while waiting to return?

Postby brazegoesmoo » Mon, 08 Aug 2011 00:01

Does it do anything? (aside from amuse me) I'm sort of thinking it's an attempt to create a lag condition or some sort of bug.

It's called "line dancing" and it is tons of fun!

i equate line dancing with long island iced teas and hanging out with the rodeo crowd. I swore it off after college lol

I don't see how it can be a problem in TS4...you can barely move!

Not really, its a bit distracting, but it gets easier to get a weak return.

Yeah they try to distract you, the best way is not to care where the hell he is and just aim and hit where you want!

   Great stuff. Yeah I mean it's really all a matter of annoyance. There were certain instances in TS3 where it slightly helped you along with some other cheesy things (inside baseline returns) that some people still seem to cling to. Now it's just more annoying to look at and slightly distracting than anything else.

Oh come on  This is fair!!

I mean... None of you try to convince your opponent that you will go in a direction to return his serve, in order to have a serve in the opponent direction???

Don't know if you understand what I mean... It happens also in soccer, during penalties.

So i would call it, "Dance of the Keeper" lol

I make a small adjustment every few points, but the jerking, twitching and dancing I've seen some of my opponents do cracks me up!

My thought is always: "what is he doing?!"
I used to think I was indecisive... but now I'm not so sure.

hell no ,the TS3 line dancer are back OMG 8)

never saw a linedancer in TS4 ...yet

but i think in TS4 it brings no advandage (different than in TS3),
but it can be definitifly annoying and forward it can disturb the opponent during serving !!

i personelly dislike this behavior . in TS3 i hated this totally

I think anything designed solely to distract your opponent is stupid. Stoopz McGoopz. It's like, if you were playing next to each other 'in real life' and you reached over and turned his controller off or messed with his joystick (Yeah I just said that)

At least there's no button to do this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSZvItWSRt4

Also speaking of being distracted, top spin is a terrible terrible game to be playing when a massive spider runs across your floor and hides in your LPs... glancing around at my feet mid rally, not good...
