PS3 trumps XBOX360

For the first time in ITST history, PS3 has more ranked and active players then Xbox 360!

Can Xbox360 make a comeback? :wink:

YES! IF you are willing to invite players when you play WT. There are around 1000 active p[layers every night on WT when I play. I try and invite the most, but I cannot do it alone. If you guys want to help a bit, that would be great!

thats kind of shocking considering how long the psn outage was, that there are still more active players on the ps3 tour than the xbox tour

Because on ps3 No world tour , you can only plays top spin on ITST.

yup n1 can play on world tour and when you do it's 95% newbies. To play competitive matches you have to play ITST. But I think the PS3 tour is dying. There used to be 1000's of players connected now I see on avg. 300.

i've recommended a couple of people from WT who played proper tennis but to be honest most of the people i've played on there aren't worth recommending. e.g. why the hell would you want to play a tennis game if it means you have to slice literally every single shot?

i'm sure most of them have never actually seen a tennis match before.

having said that i'd like to see this ACDC ROKZ guy on the tour.

Any reason you guys on the 360 tour are all signing up to Farmers Classic? Its crazy. :lol:

The PS3 World Tour averages about 300 players and we have on average 150 players on our tour.

The 360 World Tour averages about 1000 players and we have on average 100 players on this tour.

So the 360 tour needs to grow. The difference is to big to be just explained by the WT downtime for the PS3. We really would like people to promote more on live. All of you that are already doing that, a big thanks and keep up the good work.

Maybe the players who signed up to Farmers Classic are powerfull players and they'd like to play on a fast surface (Farmers is the only hard court, others are on clay)
But ... this is just a guess ^^

Bad players can improve. And if you invite cheesers point them to our non-cheese thread. A lot of these guys cheese cause they encounter cheese and think it is the only way to win. If we show them differently they can change. Cheaters can be skipped.

i think the problem is the same as all the other topspin games.....at first its very exciting and lots of people are playing and inviting others; but after months people grow tired of the game and stop playing....with PS3 they are just starting to be able to play again; so they are excited etc....i say give it a couple months and the tours will be about even
