Hackers have some BS info. Nothing real on my account at all.

And XBL isn't immune to hacking. It can get hacked too... and everyone who plays online has card info on it.

You don't need to use your credit card through XBL btw. You can buy an XBL voucher or whatever in a store on online. Your credit card details need never be on your account, and you need never buy anything through XBL.

ps; I don't know how much you weight this game into your decision, i am guessing quite alot since you are a member here. But ever since PSN is back online you can't play the World Tour currently on PSN, which aside from the ITST is the most fun part about the game (imho). So there you go another reason to buy the X360.

Oh and if you think "well no problem that should be fixed soon". Yeah that is their official status too ....for the past few months.

Not true. Yes, it could be hacked, but they don't have any of my info - I buy the pre-paid cards so I don't have to give them my card.

Yeah probably, but I was using the dependancy on XBoxLive transactions as a criticism.

Didn't know there was a way around it. There is no criticism of PSN in my eyes :D

6 free games (up to 8 if you count PS1 and PSP games) is perfect compensation for being hacked in which none of my information was taken lol

This thread is a month old, but I figured I'd give my input anyways.

I've owned both systems -- both my 360 and PS3 died, and I decided to buy a new PS3 and not a new 360, so obviously I like the PS3 more.

One, I HATE the 360 controller. Most people seem like it, but I find it uncomfortable to use and really dislike the shoulder buttons. It's better than the original Xbox controller, which was the worst controller since N64, but I'm still not a fan.

Two, I'm more interested in the PS3 exclusives -- don't really play FPS games much, and would rather have Uncharted/The Show than anything that's exclusive to 360.

The other main thing was that PSN is free.....Xbox Live definitely has more features, but I never cared about any of them, and for me Live was never any better in terms of actually connecting to play games than PSN. I don't do voice chat because I don't want to hear random people yelling stupid shit all the time, and I really don't play that many games online. Top Spin, NCAA Football online dynasties, FIFA.....that's about it; I mostly play games single player off-line so it's not worth paying money for Live to me. But for someone who's going to play online all the time, and wants all those extra features, Live is probably better.

The Blu-Ray player is nice but I have one on my PC too, and I hardly ever use it anyways, so that didn't really matter to me.

Yeah I only have a ps3. I wanted the blu ray and in 2007 they were still super expensive. But I'm very happy with it. On both system releases the xbox will have better graphics for sure they are actually designed for that machine, as 95% of the games are then just ported as the ps3 is quite hard to develop for. So its not really "fair" for graphical comparisons like that in my opinion. Some Sony exec the other day said that developers are only just starting to use the ps3's power. Hideo kojima satisfying when making mgs4 that the Cell processor, RAM and graphics emulators were mated out with mgs4, and the console was used to its full capability, but now while making mgs rising he's said we found that just wasn't the case lol. It's bizzare though to have this apparently super powerful machine thats really hard to access and release the power as it were.
