Underdeveloped player glitch - Important information

Postby SlicerITST » Tue, 28 Jun 2011 00:06

It seems there is a glitch appearing lately. What happens is that your opponents player appears to be underdeveloped. Whether not this is a glitch or a cheat is unkown for now. What appears to be the case though is that these players seem to be a lot more powerful then should be the case.

Hence we would like to ask our players to check out the opponents character before the match. If your opponents character is underdeveloped and has no coach skills something is wrong. If so, then tell your opponent. Remember that this is probably a glitch and that your opponent might see something completely different. If needed you can point your opponent to this thread.

Ask your opponent to set up a new room. Or change the person who hosts to see if the issue disappears. If not then please contact the host of the tournament.

Because we do not fully know if there is a real advantage or not because of this we will not turn back any of the matches where complaints where filed on.

Oh my, I just played DMG 100, and he had no skills, and almost no stats, and 60 something power, but he kept hitting shots that are rocket like! I think this may be a cheat/glitch.....

Hmmm. I played my Test Tournament match with a lvl. 20 Stepanek with no coach skills... Would I have been rejected then?

I was just accused of this. Although I was a level 20 using a coach with two additional skills. (volley shot artist) (drop shot artist) Is it possible there is an issue in the game where the player can't see the skills? IDK but I'm not a cheater so it sort of rubbed me the wrong way when I received this pm after my match.

I'm glad that you brought this up, a few days back I played Dapery and his setup was something like the highest stat was 70 with no skills...In a 2 set 6 game per I won something like 5 points it was the worst butt kicking ive ever taken. Hit was tagging the short cross on the line everytime with great pace I was completely baffled. Since that match I written three comment about how good he is. Now it all makes sense...what a low down move for a top player to use. Sorry Dap your on my friends list but dang you had me thinking i was terrible. It's all good it was just an friendly match I'm not trying to say he's a cheat just agreeing that his glitched character was a beast, it was just a match for fun you know.

Lets not jump to conclusions. At this point we view this as a glitch. If someone can show me a way to "control" it, then we can start talking "cheat".

I haven't found it, so it is likely another glitch in the game.

I played Dapery in the Pro Tournament - no chance of any glitched, created players there. He's quite simply the best player I've ever faced.

Nah I'm not saying cheat at all the match was just for fun I know he would never use that in itst or wt but i can certainly say I've never seen anything like the player he used in that match. The glitch is real thats all I'm saying.

There are no suspects. Just instances that took place. We need more evidence to start classifying it as a cheat.

The fact that BluudyEEfingaz was involved in an instate, makes it a serious case for a glitch. I seriously doubt she is cheating.

Oh yes it is. I experienced it 2 times, on Ps3 and Xbox.

I think the only glitch is that you don't see your opponent's skills and bonus stats. I don't think it affects the way the game plays.

That's why we ask that you create a new room, and see if the skills will show up. It could just be that something goes wrong when it sends the data to the other player.
