I've played many TI/MD and IR/MD players. Coincidentally I haven't lost to any of them yet. Infact last week I played the #5 guy in WT twice, and he used TI/MD. I beat him both times, using my allrounder.
The only reason why I've beaten them is because I played better, not because they are balanced now. TI/MD and IR/MD are still too strong.

You have to admit though the fear factor of playing ti/md is not the same post patch. I beat them too pre patch, most of the time, but i knew i was going to have to play well in order to do so. Now, it feels like a mismatch with my current set up i'm completely dominating them, without the short angles the ti/md have lost tier one status, combined with the fact that the max power that they can produce is 79 in the 0-12-8 configuration i just don't find them difficult to play anymore. You can keep them banned, but i think it's unnecessary post patch. Unbanning them may bring more people who are comfortable using the PQJ coach into the ITST fold.

I think you don't meet a good TI/MD player

I don't understand how you can possibly have rallies this long. I've never had a rally longer than 30 or 35.

I had like an 89 shot rally the other night...I agree it's not fun, it's ridiculous, most of those rallies end on a STUPID pointless, random error anyways.

This is why I've been making fun of people who hate risk shots for like 5 years now....I told you muthaf**kaz this is what would happen and sure enough...

You still can't hit the ball out unless you are tired or way out of position...I know I've said this like 10 times but they need to make the controls even more like TS2. In TS4 you can aim basically as long as you want to one side, and AS LONG AS you get perfect timing, you can NOT hit it out unless you're on the run. You should be able to aim too deep/too angled even if you get perfect timing..

How did the developers not know that 1) Tweaking the angles 2) Tweaking the effects of stamina and 3) Slowing the pace of the ball down would be like A PERFECT STORM for butt-ass long rallies that make you wanna die??

They should have done updates like this past one in smaller increments. I feel like something between what we have now, and what we had in the beginning would be pretty good.

i have not had one of these mythical 100+ stroke rallies either, I have had some long ones, but maybe only 30+, tops. i would very much like somone to film one, as I cannot see how someone can have a rally that lasts that long, well atleast not regurlarly.

i had a very long rally (80+) in career mode once, but that was a doubles match, and tbh i didnt have to do anything for about 90% of that rally. :p

Well Mike and I definitely aren't making this stuff up.

I don't WANT to get in these crazy rallies but they happen. I've never had a 100+ shot rally though, the longest is what I mentioned a couple posts ago

I'd say 80+ shot rallies are very rare but 50-60+ rallies happen quite frequently, at least with me.

I don't think anyone is claiming you are making it up. They would just like to see it filmed to see how it is possible at a top level.

I think that all the coaches must be allowed again. I play ir/md, i won mrberson while he was ti/md for example. Everything is tuned down in my opinion and i think everyone must choose any style they want...

I dont think this qualifies, samala was the one coach who matched up really well with TS/MD before the patch so beating him with that setup doesnt mean it is tuned down.

try a different setup vs TS/MD and see if it is the same. should give you better look at seeing what is overpowered.
