So i was thinking that a text on the top head of the forum should help...
Something like this :
"Welcome on the ITST Forum.
If this is your first time here, we invite you to check the FAQ by clicking on the previous link. You will have to subscribe first if you want to write and share messages. To start reading messages, choose the desired forum amongst one from the list beneath."
I haven't checked it recently, but in the FAQ there should have all the "How To..." answers, and some "what we don't want..." stuff (multiple accounts, name dropping, insulting/lack of respect, double posting, creating irrelevant topics,...) and maybe also some advices (like "search before posting" and all...
)
I know I am not the best one to give lessons here, but this is just something that could help the "newbies", and it could help also to explain why this or that is not "wanted" on the forum...
Well, that was my 2 c's thoughts though...
. Either way i will change/add some things so its easier for new people to get the ITST concept.
i wouldnt mind some feedback from any new guy. Just let me know what you think could be improved. What did you find unclear when you first signed up for ITST?
