Cheesy Tatics

Postby MrMackNasty » Sat, 11 Jun 2011 02:23

I figured I would make a thread so everyone can see what cheesy tatics aren't allowed in ITST matches.

So post some cheesy tatics not allowed in ITST matches!

Or better, discuss tactics you think shouldn't be allowed

Personally I feel there are very few. I don't think drop shot abuse should be disallowed. It's annoying, but can be countered.

I just think the wide slice serve is very annoying.

A lot of shots, such as wide slice serving and drop shots, can only be considered cheesy if they are abused. BUT, if they are abused, then they are predictable and easy to counter.

So really, the only things are glitches or flaws in the game.

Standing as wide as possible when serving is probably the only truly cheesy thing I can think of.

i have a actuelly thing .

when you come in lobby to play a ITST match ,than you have to use the player .

you can´t come in lobby to look stats from opponent ,see his weak points and than to change own player to attack his weak points

so when you entree in lobby to play a match you MUST USE THIS PLAYER you entree with

What if I send my opponent a pm beforehand asking him what type of setup he uses ... Would that be considered cheesy?

I dont like when you come to play a match and he sees ur character, then switches to something that counters it the best.......

yes to the standing far out and slicing wide. slicing out wide every single time is thoroughly annoying too. switch it up i say.
power stat at 100 is also cheesy in my opinion.
incessant drop shots drive me insane, but that's mostly because i'm not that good at making them so it's part envy and part frustration. (i'll pay 7 rupees for anyone offering drop shots lessons)
and no, you shouldn't be able to ask what the other person's stats are, unless you're willing to reveal yours also. and then the opponent can adapt. and then you can adapt. and then... (you get the point).

Ask ME what setup/character I'm using right before a match, I'll kindly tell you to kiss my ass and guess

Me too. And if you leave and come back with a different character, I'll ask you to wait while I go get my other character.

I don't think in the current state of the game anything can be called cheese , the game is well balanced I'm afraid .
