I lost 6-4 6-1 but it was really close...I DON'T WANNA MAKE EXCUSES BAGHDAD :P (here it comes!) but do you remember when you won set point, where you hit like a 30 mph control shot topspin for a winner? I completely lost the ball!! argghh...it just disappeared in the crowd/seats and by the time I saw it again it was too late.

I tried to keep it together but that bothered me

But really it was a great match, a bit exhausting, we really had a ton of extremely long rallies, at times it was like Borg vs Vilas or something, just hitting slow deep topspins to each others backhands for like 40 shots in a row

You beat me to posting our match report (I was going to do it after our match but got sidetracked)...

To be honest I really enjoyed this match Jay. The match was too close as you mentioned and I don't think the second set score really reflects how "neck and neck" it really was.

In the first set I was very impressed with how you came out of the blocks. Your game seems to be swung in the favor of power (rather than control shots) and your timing of the ball impressed me a lot I had to say.

I have not played pro's since I played with Puttu really around the release date of TS4 and I want to have another bash at it again because of our match. I chose Warwinka because he was the only player I could see who had a backhand stat higher than the forehand and one with enough accuracy on it (77). I had never used the guy before but he looked and felt like a nice SIM like player - quite balance in all the stats (compared to say Roddick or Nadal).

Jay if you have time you should enter the "ITST Pro Tournament" that kicks off on the 5th of June, signup is going on now. I know you only really play for fun but it would be cool if you did enter. If not, hope to catch you around again sometime. Warwinka vs Daveydenko Part II 8)

Yeah I am FOR SURE entering the Pro tournament...oh we'll definitely play again, I had a lot of fun...I was playing a bit robotic, I could have hit some drop shots or come to the net or played more control shots I guess, it was just a little laggy so I was nervous to try those things. Also I think I would forget, for long stretches, that Wawrinka's backhand is the better shot  I didn't play to your forehand enough.

I got to some balls that I previously would have thought were impossible to get to though, and hit some clutch aces, so I was pretty happy with how I played even though I lost...I was wishing it was a best of 5 :P

played a ton of TS/MD builds in WT tonight. Why is it that when the sense that you can beat them, its the slow serves outwide and either extreme angles or im going to slice it till you eventually give me a ball that i can hit an extreme angle off of?

Ran into a great player in 2K Open last night, a guy from Spain, 'Kasty LVE', I think he was ranked 17 in 2K open.

We were both Djokovic...I almost never play with Djokovic so I was feeling really uncomfortable, but I still thought he was a really good player. Never felt quite so uncomfortable (Djokovic aside) in this game as I did playing him, I really was scrambling for almost every ball it seemed like, could never really get my feet planted and go for a big shot. I lost 1-3, 0-3...first time I have lost a set without winning a game.

I was a little bit sore after the match because 1) I have never been beaten that soundly and 2) He was constantly hitting extreme angles off shots that I would have thought were impossible to angle away and it was getting extremely annoying because I couldn't come up with an answer in time...I did start hitting good responses to his short angles in the last 2 games, but it was too late.

but I felt better when he sent me a message saying "You're a great player!", I thought that was cool...

Also ran into this guy 'BigFootGREG' who I remember hearing some lovely things about during the TS3 tour

I won 24 points and he won 8, he quit when I got to match point

Met 'lukkysteff' in a 2K open match, he was Federer I was Davydenko

Great player, really had me sweating bullets the entire time. I didn't realize he was an ITST player either until I just checked the draw for the 'ITST Pro Challenge'. Provided we both get through our 1st opponents, we'll meet in the next round, probably using the same players

I won a really close match...don't remember the score exactly but it went to a super tiebreak. I think I had maybe 4-5 more total points than him, so like I said it was really close

Played Tuctuc29 before at Roland Garros when we both used a Rabari (high power) coached player. It was a tense match with almost no which i won 7-6 6-4 6-0. So our level is more or less the same.

Today he invited me to play a friendly set. I played a Drew Welch (55 pw, 90sp) carac against his same power type. It became a very interesting set with me defending all time on the hardcourt. My tactic was to make force errors, a tactic which was hopeless before the update. But now, behold!

Tuctuc power player: Winners 24 - UE 14
My speed player: Winners 20 - UE 1

First time i won in this game with less winners then my opponent, very interesting that this can happen now:)

2 nights ago I played this guy from Spain called 'Afiador', HAHAHA he sent me the best voice message ever.

*in an extremely Spanish accent*

"Typical estupid motherf**ker! No are playing tennis! NO ARE PLAYING TENNIS! Every point- REPEAT, REPEAT, REPEAT. THIS IS NOT TENNIS!"

He was so incredibly mad I wish there was some way I could play the message on here..the funny thing is he only won 1 point in the entire match and it was a double fault from me. So I have no idea why he thinks he's in a position to criticize how I'm playing, but that's just how some people are I guess.

win the match, that's all you need to do if you wanna get a lovely message
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

I honestly have no idea what I did, I played completely 100% fairly, he was just mad he lost.

Like I said he didn't win a point in the match except for my double fault so I'm sure he was pretty frustrated

So i ran into a guy on WT who was S&V. it was hard enough on his service games, but on my returns. He was able to consistently push me back behind the baseline with one of those loopy returns and then charge the net.

anybody know what to do vs this?

Just played with MrBerson for the first time in WT and won 4-3 in tie break!!!!

It was a great match!

I tried everything for this win! Flat shots, top spin, control, drops, aces, wide serves, slices, everything!!!!

Nice game man, but i think that you are not better than me when we dont have banned coaches after the big update...

I told you i won all the ti/md players after the patch...

I only lost from joker once and the cheat steal win that the time nutter took me...
