me too but with nole and rafa , delpo the future of tennis unlikely as the tournament directors and ATP foucus on the top guys and rafa and nole aren't. Touch players so we won't see more grass courts remember if suddenly more juniors that serve volley are produced it will change but considered how long it takes to develop that all-court game not likely not enough patientence to develop more feds, dimitrovs, harissons, berankis,d youngs guys who come on tour an all-court game

in my opinion 1handed backhand players like him are endangered species and should be protected, one of the best matches i've seen in my life was Blake against him at the US OPen

his backhand is one of a kind...he looked really tired towards the 3rd set and he wasnt following through on his forehand swing which caused a lot of balls to go long and into the net

i'm also watching Vedasco vs Mahut at Queen's, and damn!! that court is much faster than Wimbledon's, or maybe it's just because they're just playing 1st rounds and the court is still in perfect conditions

Karlovic is such a fail. All he has is a serve and he can't even win on probably the fastest court on tour.

James Ward does it. I love that guy.

He almost beat Safin here 2, maybe 3 years ago. I think he got to the QF of Eastbourne last year, beating lopez and schuettler before losing to Dogolopov

hopefully it rains a bit so the grass at Wimbledon slicks up a bit and we need some babolat balls .why won't the Lta follow the French federation example and put their players first look what they did to the masters in bercy nice quick court two french in the semis one makes the final l. Uofficially a groundskeeper has admitted to slowing the grass further since it was officially done in 2001 to suit rafa and the European players on tour to think serve volley is redundant on the surface it was designed for

Good luck! It's true that apart from the very top of the game s&v is still a very effective strategy

Hell yeah it's effective if you have a good serve.

I still think we could have a primarily serve and volleying world #1, but it would need to be Serve and Volleyer 4.0 (Sampras was version 3.0). Like Pete came along and added something that no other serve and volleyer really had ever posessed before (immense power along with excellent touch), it would have to be somebody doing something really special...
