TI/MD should be allowed again...

although idk if it should have been banned in the first place... the game has been updated to make it less of an advantage...therefore players that love a character of that setup should be allowed to use him.....

The problem with TI/MD is the short cheese ball angles that it produces. If this issue has been resolved by the update, then I find no problem implementing Pei Jing Quah back into the fold.

I thought that ITST banned PJQ because of the Monster Skill defense, not the Top Spin Invasion.. If I understand great, TSI "just" allow your character to have bigger frame windows to hit your shot, but not make better angles on crosscourt shots.

But yeah, it seems like these cheesy shots have been a little balanced, but it needs confirmation.

did u not read the update? lol....the monster defense skill was adjusted as wel as making it more difficult to hit short angles...get educated

The update has only just happened, whose to say it has worked effectively yet.

Right, the reason MD was banned it because of the timing windows. It improved all shot timing as long as the player is behind in the game. Smell of Blood improves all shot timing as long as its game point, this is the exact same thing, yet, it is not banned, why not? :shock:

If we need to re-evaluate the rules - we will. But not before a good few tournaments have past.

Odd comment as there are a lot of TI coaches left.

Anyways, we will review the Monster Defense skill. Any feedback on it is very much appreciated. We have no problem to unban it if the community is behind such action.

I'm just saying if the "balancing update" is indeed an improvement to balancing, then all coaches should be available to use again. I know it's early and the changes need to be reviewed.

good one djarvik....i love not being able to get one single setup with a decent forehand/backhand/power with 60+ speed....BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE UNREALISTIC.....there are no players in real life who could possibly be good at the baseline AND fast...
