Nadal playing better now, but Fed letting him back in as well.

Surely Rafa in 3 now.

Without rain delay yes.

But these are the things why Federer s "reputation" as the greatest player ever is questionable.

His main opponent can destroy him mentally...any time, any place, any surface.

If Nadal can win RG and Wimbledon, he has 5 GS titles less than Rog...maybe he can close to him in the next 2-3 years and become the greatest.

the backhand has been broken down, it looks like it is going to be three sets for rafa, and probably pretty quick too

Yeah but Nadal didn't dominate the rest of the field the same way Federer did during his best years (2004-2008 I guess?).

Yeah, it might well start to rain a bit in the next 15 minutes, but it won't be much.

Normal service resumed then.
Only a matter of time before Sir Shankalot and his good friend FedError will be fully in view.

Yes and?

You can t be call "the greatest ever" if one of your main rivals dominated you that way Nadal did.

Do you think Muhammad Ali would be called the greatest Heavyweight ever if he had lost to Frazier and Foreman? I don t think so...

Federer needs his 1st serve, without that and just playing from the baseline he has no weapons against Nadal. If Fed starts serving well we'll see a battle.

Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

Well I think 'greatest ever' is a stupid, non-existant title.

I think he's the greatest of his era, though.

Take away the fact that Nadal dominates Federer and do you truly think he's the best of this era??

If not then who is?? Surely Federer is the only next logical choice

I'm a Nadal fan, no doubt about that i guess, and to me Federer is best player ever, when Rafa retires we'll see, nowadays no doubt Federer all the way.

You cant really get into the argument he got dominated by his rival, so he isnt the best. You got to remember where they play and when they played.

Most of the match-ups have come on clay (and there is a reason they call nadal, the king of clay) and most of the non-clay match-ups were when nadal was in his prime and fed was not
