Chederer lifts his hands in the air and begins crying tears of joy. "Finally! The Fed is back and is going to take down Nadal."

If there is a God please let Federer beat Nadal at least once at Roland Garros!

Yep. I wasn't sure if I wanted to see Nadal play Djokovic or Federer, but either way I am looking forward to it, especially if Federer can continue to play like he did in this match. Let's hope both guys are at the top of their game and we are in for an epic battle.

Hope the crowd are at the biased worst, as I really think the majority will be for Federer.

Fed missed a lot of bp but he played well himself on serve when under pressure.

A big reaction by Federer at the end!

The old man (at 29 LOL) beats the upstart! From now on, so long as fed is in the draw, even if he is 40, you can't count him out. I think having the focus took off him has actually helped though.

I'm 200% sure the crowd will be supporting Federer and if they have the chance they will be rude to Rafa as well, not surprising.
If Federer can finally make it, the victory over Nadal at RG will be one of the most, if not the most, success in his career, hope Rafa can play at his best and win...as almost always

+1

This would be a great highlight to his career to beat Rafa in the finals of RG. I REALLY hope he can pull it off. Today was amazing - I hope he keeps it up.

this is all wishful thinking guys...Fed stands no chance at RG against Nadal...i have this cloud of depression still today after Djok lost. but, i feel good for Fed getting some confidence back...Djokovic was too tight out there today--i think the thought of him being #1 was just too much pressure for him
