I agree....he is moving just fine during the rallies and...I don't know but he just looks to be exaggerrating quite a bit in between the points...he does this quite often, he likes to keep things like this in his back pocket so he will always have some excuse (even if it's an excuse he only tells himself) if he loses

Or to make the opponent think he worse than is.

Monfils were in final of the Master Series in Paris, and lost against Soderling, that's why he's high in the ranking

I dunno if anybody's watching Fognini vs Montanes but it's 3-5 for Fognini in the 5th and he has a break point and...he's standing literally 15 feet behind the baseline to return serve. I just do not understand that...he wasted 2...no 3 now, break point opportunities with this weird positioning

edit: well he finally got the break point but it was definitely despite his return positioning, not because of it...I just thought this was really weird, he was standing REEEALLLY far back, maybe even 20 feet behind the baseline..against a guy with a not-so-great serve.

Then we'll have to go with Azarenka.

Cheesy play by Fed btw, a forehand slice winner.

Fed's always been cheesy, he's been cheesing Roddick out of service games for like 8 years now

Warwinka just looks in awe a little when he plays Federer, who by the way looks very smooth but unless your Top 5 or come with some heavy artillery in every rally you are usually going to always look outclassed by Fed.

What a cross court angle winner for 3-1!

Wow I was thinking the EXACT same thing...you can tell he does not believe, at all, that he can beat Federer. Ever. I think Fed could be having a really bad day and Wawrinka would find some way to lose

Roger just reads him so easily by the look of things, similiar to Melbourne when Federer destroyed him. Just hope to see Federer maintain concentration all match long.

An easy first week is good news for all Roger fans.

Btw Chela v Falla for a qf berth  certainly a few surprises aswell as a few lambs to the slaughter being lined up.

It has :P

And Wawrinka goes down 2 sets to love in 58 minutes..

And the commentator makes a tired boxing metaphor about 'they'd have stopped it by now'

Although as usual nowadays Federer goes on a bit of a mental break to drop serve.

Fognini getting an injury time out for cramp at 15-30 6-7. Really out of order for the timing and it's cramp not an injury!

And now Fognini foot faulting for fun it seems. He is literally stood lead footed just swinging his arm and Montanes can't put him away.

And it's still so early in the 5th, 8-8 now. Long way to go still.

I was laughing at some of those Fognini shots just going for broke on everything except the serve (which was getting rolled in) and it came off. Montanes really blew a massive opportunity, and at 30 it won't be coming around again.
