The new auto-standby feature is nice. It'll now shut down after an hour - I think the old timer was 6 hours, which is kind of nuts.

I think it's safe to say that if I haven't touched my controller for an hour, I'm probably not playing a game. :roll:

Oh cool...I've actually been waiting for this! I had no idea it was in the works but I've always thought the 6 hour timer was ridiculous...now I can watch Netflix in bed and not worry about falling asleep and leaving my Xbox on for hours.

one question there is an offer for 2 months of xbox live for two pounds if i buy a three month voucher and use it to pay for the two months will i get five months in total

How does the timer work though? Does the screen have to not be changed or anything? Like a DVD title menu? If it actually turns off after an hour of the same screen/controller not being touched then thats awesome. I do the same thing when i fall asleep watching a movie too.

I do that all the time, fall asleep watching netflix :oops:

Not sure about a DVD, because of the title screen (never watched a DVD on my Xbox); but if you watch Netflix, or any other streaming/downloaded video, it should shut off an hour after the video ends.
