it could be something with xbox live and the program trying to match together people with compatible internet connections---or it could be that there really arent that many people waiting

Thanks for the tip mate, but I'm using PS3 (not Xbox) and there seems to be loads of people affected. It was absolutely before the hacking took place a few weeks ago so must surely be a problem their side and not mine?

same thing happens with me ... I tried it now for 2/3h and I never get anyone on lobbies, it's getting way too frustrating ... didn't change any of my ps3 network settings but everything is fine in every other game I tried since PSN is back - FIFA11, NHL11 and GT5 (didn't try NBA 2k11 though)

If they don't fix this soon, the community of this game will die out in no time. I rarely experienced something as frustrating as this game online...

found this article interesting...looks like the restoration will happen in phases for PSN...it should all be taken care of by the end of May

I don't think this has anything to do with Sony. It's something wrong on 2K's part. WT worked for a little bit straight after the PSN went back up but within a day, it seems like the TS4 servers went down for awhile and after that the WT hasn't been working. Might be some sort of server failure.

I really doubt it could have anything to do with Sony. If it's something up with the PSN then we wouldn't be able to go online with any game. The only problem is TS4. Plus it's only their WT and 2K Open. Online player matches still work fine. Definitely something on 2K's side.

I noticed, that while I can't connect to anyone in male WT at all, I can play female WT without any problems...
I'd suggest to give it a try.

its pissed me off right now awards me a loss in a tournament coz i lsot connection and forfieted which i didnt i as in a game session waiting grrr can anyone of the admins email 2ksports or something to fix this well fustrating

Guys....I think I have the answer! I contacted 2k who said that the file may have been corrupted during the recent update. They said to go to game data in the system menu and delete the game. You won't lose any of your saved players. You then install it again and then it should work perfectly. I did that - and hey -presto, fine!
