Well even just strictly geographically speaking, it's in both Europe and Asia.

I mean...Iraq and Iran are in Asia, but do you ever really think of them as Asian countries??

Ahh but i would call those middle eastern. Its true though, in the UK if you said think of somebody asian, most people would probably think of a pakistani or a indian, whereas in the US they would maybe think of somebody japanese or chinese.

yep i agree, actually media never refer to them as asian countries, as Villa said they always talk about middle east countries...when i think about Asia, countries like Japan, India....come to my mind, not Irak, India etc
