Just thought i'd share that with you lol,if you time it right you can really get it on the lines and skids through so much better than using Analogue stick.

I'm finding it much easier to hit the corners and the angles using dpad but I'm sure it just depends what your used too

It IS more accurate and easier to pull off the angles but the moving for me is the problem. I have to switch interchangeably from dpad to stick and it's quite cumbersome so i just stick with the ahem* stick.

Maybe do it sparingly when you have time perhaps? But I don't think it's worth changing you're whole structure of the game. Or maybe I'm just lazy?

Using d-pad hurts my thumb more than I can handle. Most rallies in top spin 4 are too long, made me finally learn how to play using the stick...

How do I use the dpad in PS3 for player movement as well as aiming?
It defaults to left analog stick and there is no option to set dpad as the one to use.

Guys I had the same Discussion with the good germany Guy I met today.

He had the firm Opinion that you can hit Shot Angles with the D-Pad which you can't hit with the Analog Stick. He meant this because he tried it a few Times. And he is a experienced Player since the Release.

But if I think about it, it should be only logical that you can do the same with the Analogstick, because it's nothing other than a more variable precise Directioncontrol and it goes more about what you are used to.

What do you mean Guys?

I think it's the same like in Pro Evoultion Soccer where a few Guys still play with the D-Pad and saying it's better to control because they are used to.

But I wouldn't lay my hand in the Fire for this.

i actually find that using dpad in ts3 better .....dont know why i switched in ts4.....will try it out
