Postby PCFitnessDotNet » Wed, 11 May 2011 01:47

I just got Virtua Tennis 4 for the 360 and can't figure out how to do a drop shot, lol. Anyone have info on this?

Thanks!

If it's anything like every single other VT game, you push X and hold 'back' for like 1.5 seconds. You can only do a drop shot if you have enough time.

ah ok. that's right, i remember you being really good in vt3. i did notice a few players in vt4 hitting what looked like to be lobs that were being pulled back with the left thumb stick. you think this is possible?

i figured it out how to pull off the perfect drop shot. tap Y and pull back on the leftstick either down the middle, left or right depending on where you want to place your drop shot.

You mean a drop volley or a drop groundstroke?? I think you're talking about a drop volley...

Well in VT3 it required a double tap...you tap Y, start aiming your drop volley, then tap Y again when the ball is hitting your racquet.

Maybe they changed it but I doubt it.

This shot's weird...it wasn't in the VT3 instruction manual, it was some weird s**t you had to learn from people online. Only I don't know where THOSE people found it out...it's not really mentioned anywhere on the internet aside from the xbox.com forums. It's really strange.

Guitar :D

We're on hiatus right now...having just searched for like 3 months for a new vocalist, and finding him, our drummer now drops the bombshell on us a couple days ago that his wife is pregnant. Great. Now we need a new drummer because he's eventually going to have to quit when s**t starts getting really crazy

The Japs discover drop volley and flat shot @ Arcade Version, 3 months after release.

Drop shot in VT4 use "lob" button rather than "slice" button, FYI.

There used to be an arcade version of VT3 like 2 minutes from my place, that was actually the first place I ever played VT3 was on the arcade version. I don't know how they just 'discover' stuff like that but I believe you

Because I am the first one who check out this technique from their forum  And it's me who taught this technique to my friends in HK Arcade, and then that's it.

But then I also think the technique is crazy, how can they figure that out?
