Game of Thrones HBO

It's a tv series based on the book series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R Martin. I haven't read the books, but have wanted to.

Only the 2nd episode has been televised so far, but I've watched both and it's pretty good. It has a very gritty and real setting for a fantasy series.

So yeah, just wonderin' if any one's watched it

I wasn't too hooked after the first episode but gave it another chance and thought the second was a lot better and things got a lot more interesting, hope it keeps it up.

Yeah wasn't expecting that! Looks like things will start tieing together more. Big cast though and very high production value, you only seem to get big tv series like this made in the US

Yeah, indeed. The story is meant to be huge, btw. I ordered the Game of Thrones book the other day

Might be easier to get names if I knew the book lol

Also, got the stupid Title Sequence music stuck in my head. Got it on loop on youtube :lol:

Dunno. I'm not one to watch tv series. I'm just watching this cause I read the Wheel of Time book series, and people are saying the book series this is based on is really good. But I havent heard of Pillars of the Earth :oops:

Well, you might like this. It's a fantasy story, but I've heard its more swords-ey rather than sorcery-ey :lol:

And the show is definitely pretty gritty looking

Hmm. I prefer fantasy and sorta old fashioned books/tv/films. Helps me get away from the 'real world'. So..

I may like it, but I don't think I'll ever get round to watching it
