Are many here having much success with their defensive baseliners then? I tried making one again earlier with 92 speed, high reflexes and stamina and with the diesel returner trait but he was moving like a snail and was slow to respond. Changing direction was also a disaster and once I got pulled outwide..that was it. I might as well have had 50 speed.
Back to the drawing board..

Defensive baseliners are strong in this game. I had a lot of success with mine. The one problem is that you do need power in this game. It affects too much, your serve, all your power strokes, even slice. With few errors in this game, it's hard sometimes for a defensive baseliner to finish off points. If they revamp stamina to have more of an impact when it is low, then I can see defensive baseliners being a force.

Yep I figured that as I only had 50 power. I think at least 65-70 power is a must by the looks of it.

Add me to this club. I love defensive players and extending the points as long as possible until I tire my opponent. 0-5-15.

Edited: I'm on Xbox360.

Please count me in. :) I am a big fan of defensive baseliners. I usually use Borg in 2K Open. The state of my costom player is 18DB 2OB with coach Welch. It is always enjoyable when you use your angle shot to beat powerful players! Cheers! :P
