Just beat Strategyguide in WS Warm up Semi. I thought I played well considering the lag and that I DESPISE CLAY :!:

I won 6-1 6-3 but after the match I learned from my opponent my character may be "unfair" :?:

Fh 74 bh 84 srv 72 vol 39 pow 85 sta 84 spe 59 ref 48 = Venus Williams skills instant rocket, crushing passing shot I've managed to beat great players to get to my first final...technically it doesn't count since I don't get points :lol:

but I felt like I earned my spot to have no Walkovers and not lose a set is an accomplishment. I'm sorry Strategy but I think my character wins fair and square. Hope we can still be friends. We've played before and I used V and you won. She's beatable really...just ask bkristian and womanizer :evil:

your player is not unfair, you dont even have what most people hate. which is TI/MD. probably just pissed that he lost

He should play Womanizer...he uses TI/MD and ALWAYS plays drop volleys after serve. It's annoying but hey what can we do it's still early in developing rules for the tour.

I am sure we would both agree that this was a good match.It was a fair fight and I must say Anil is a great fighter.

As Anil prefered to play with his monster defense top I guy ,I had to create one to have any chances to win this bloody thing. Although ,most people do not seem to have any issues with these characters , I have loads.

Yes , the game is still fun . I have no doubts about that. My main issue being that all strategy is thrown out the window.Using these players , I found myself not really caring about the stamina bar. Why would I ? I could still fully charge all my shots and be ok. Halfof the fun for me when using normal set ups is managing that stamina bar with control shots. All that is required to win using this charater is to hold B all the time and push your opponent left-right left right.Maybe try and wrong foot him once in a while to make it look like there is some kind of stategy behind all of this.

At the end of the day , out my 5 matches in this tourny . 2 had those set ups , those 2 matches made me want to quit. It truly spoils the game for me and I hope something will be done ...It will kill all variety in the game.

@ Anil:

I know you have other set ups ... I hope you can indulge me and use them when we play next time.

^^^ completely agree.

Matches between 2 players with this setup are fun, matches where 1 has it and 1 doesn't are not. The MD bonus and ease of hitting lines just needs to be toned down a bit and I think everything will be fine.

I can`t understand this Discussion about Top Spin Invasion and i think if have you a TS Coach or not is not a great difference!!!

Give some peoples by the World Tour without TS but the Players can play similarly good Top Spins...my career player have another Coaches and no TS and i feel not a great difference too my WT Player with TS.

The TS skill is ONLY when you play more Top Spins by a point change,then is TS maybe little better after 3 or 4 Top Spin in a point change...but i think is not a great difference.

By all my WT Matches i have NEVER feel the TS is too strong and have never lose a Matches because TS.

When i lose Matches is my Opponent better or have a stronger Setup,or play little " Cheesy" but i lose SURE NEVER a Match through the TS skill... :roll:

we actually played the first set and then he quit saying that the patch was unfair and that he couldnt hit his serve good anymore...so i guess it is unfair that he cant get 40 aces in a match anymore...then even though he quit i played a 2nd set with him, and won 6-3

he tried to act like i was in the wrong for not being sure if i wanted to play the 2nd set 10 min. after he had freaking quit... believe it or not, he actually asked f we could start again but let him use a new player, after i had won a set...

Monster defence=Is sure not a great advantage and some peoples understand this skill apparent not right...ONLY when you behind in a Game by 0:15,0:30,0:40 and THEN you become a better defence...but i feel this never play the same Tennis if i behind or not in a game.

But yes this is the best Coaches he have +15 fh/bh

Actually, even though it's against the rules, I kind of agree with him. His character was not what it used to be. I can imagine it being pretty frustrating that he wasn't able to play as well as he could before the patch. It's kind of like showing up for a race and finding out that they're bolting a 500lb weight to your car because of the tires you use, and not letting you just switch to a different tire. But then again, maybe he should have known that going in, and chosen another character.

Anyway, Soter is a stand-up guy. He's not one to cry over nothing. He obviously couldn't have prepared for the change the patch brought on.

Oh well, it's just a warm up tourny anyway.

Played Anil twice tonight..
He won both matches 6-1 6-0 and 6-2 6-3. He is just too good already and does everything really well.
I thought my serving was even worse than usual tonight though (didn't think it could get any worse!) but I see that the patch has made it even more difficult for stick serving so that probably explains it....meh,happy days!!1 :shock:

Well, I'm a bit disappointed that I read this only now... A bit of time has passed, but I'd like to say what really appened, because what Holla has said it's not the full story.
first I want to say thanks to Rob who has understand that situation.
before that match I had never played with the patch, I opened the xbox, downloaded the patch and played. the main problem was not the serve, but as I have explained on other topic, my player was powerless and his shot was crappy, the return was uncontrollable and he was freezed after most of the shots for a split second with big problem on the other shot. I've tried to play, but I was a bit frustrated to see how my player was broken. Since everytime my opponent had a problem I give to him a chance, I though that I can ask a fovour to my opponent: I have send a message immediately after I quitted the match! not 10 minutes after! And necer said that the problem was that I was not able to hit 40 aces in a match!!!! Anyway, when he refused my request to try other player (rematching from 1 set to 0 for him, not rematching compleately),I have just asked to finish the match with my old one (just for finish the match), but again he was not very friendly on this on the first. then we have finished and that's the score.
Just to clarify, my player had a real problem, like the system has "forgotten the coach stats" ... when I changed coach, saved and then selected again my old coach and saved again, has worked fine again.
I know it's past, but just to say my point of view, like Rob already said I'm able to take a defeat without cry, I was just disappointed for that problem

after the patch ,the created TS4 players are acting complete different .
the patch changed the whole game ,thats a fact .

retos comes online short before the match ,and downloadet the new patch . it would be more as correct to give as a fair player ,my opponent the chance ,the time,to realize what have changed .

with a new matchtermin to a later time or maybe at next day .

this would be fair .

i can understand retos point. (at all he just asked ,no drama )

and holla as a man with sportsmanship i can´t understand your harsh reaction to a well respected itst member .
i know you are very young ,and you like to win , but fairplay rules
this means not you are A unfair player at all !

however ,thats just my private opinion
