topspin invasion

I lost my match because the person's skill was topspin invasion and he pressed b the whole match besides one slice this is not fair play and now it does not show how good the player is and not he could possibly win because of that skill. the rules need to hurry up and be made for the website goes down like topspin league.

You have a player with big power.I'don't like the x slice shot because in this game for me is unrealistic.If i don't use the b topspin invasion shot i lost the match 6.0 6.0....

Matches with topspin vs topspin invasion are pretty exciting. Or against other big power hitters.
But yes the TS invasion is verrrrry strong.
So people with a bit more simlike setup are toast against a good TS invasion guy. It's pity 2K did that.

On the other hand. 2K did say in the reviews that . IF you have problems beating a certain type of style of player it's easy to make a new player , quickly, so you can make another player that is able to do it.

My main objective is to get deeper in the tournaments , but once I am happy with that I will move away from setups like that cause it's def. choosing the easy way. the TS invasion has no real weaknesses.

Lately I just see people complain about something and onestly it's very annoyng. This game is far from be perfect, but I think is funny and enjoiable, so, just play to have fun. If you can't counter something not necessarely mean that it's a game problem, most of the times it's YOUR problem, so train yourself to counter that. Top spin invasion is surely a really good weapon, but not invincible. I don't use topspin invasion's skill, so don't think I said that just to justify me

. right now the problems I found on this game are just the connection issue on casual matches and the slice serve from far to the center position because the game mechanic. About the other discussed problem, at now it's difficult to say something because the game is not mastered yet.

Can someone make a valid point without jumping on his case ? the man is right every single person on world tour has top spin invasion monster defense and FH/BH 90 power 80 and speed 70 .

I'm sorry that there is only one good set up to play with , I can not beat anyone equally skilled than me with this set up , the set up is so retarded that my friend that has never played ts4 beat me using such a player .

If 2K was going to make only one set up that works on line and not bother balancing the game periodicly then what is the point of having different set ups? Play like sampras? play like Murray ? what is the point ? really , this game was enjoyable on line until now everyone has figured out the winning formula and it is a clone fest out there ,yes I will go and create a clone , so I can compete with everyone else , coming with games like WoW I know that the crowds flock to the strong set ups , and without proper balancing there is just no point on being anything else .

I'm ok with certain set ups having a slight advantage but when the only thing that can win is one certain set up with one certain couch then why even bother , the game loses all dept and becomes virtua tennis 4.

the game is fun , when you find another balanced character , when everyone is Rafa Nadal and you are trying to be different than everyone else to implement your real life game style in game only to see it get destroyed by people that can hold A or B or spam X with absolutely no skill , no point building , no interesting rallies or net put aways then this game has failed once again to represent what tennis is like and just rewards players that can hit hard all day .

So why don't you guys cut some slack to people that want a little realistic tennis and stop saying L2PLY to everyone that has a valid point ?

venom, I think you are right on something, but wrong on other. for sure the topspin invasion-monster defence setup work preatty good and is easy to learn, so 80% of people online are like this. But there are other setup that work good too, just a bit more difficult to learn and people don't want to spend time on this. People want just make a player and win online as soon as possible without too many effort and ts invasion monster defence are maybe the easiest to use. I'll be very happy if the developers will make a patch to balance more, but right now I see people complain too much... the game is new, so how is possible that everyone think himself good at the point to think that if he loss a single match it's a problem of the game or the game's mechanic or a bug or something else?
I can be wrong, but we are in a test-fase now... we have to wait a little more to see exactly what will appen with the setups

retos1 use the same set up of misteryplayer and with retos I've lost every match. This mean that Top spin invasion is not invincible. Maybe retos1 is stronger than misteryplayer. I play for fun and is better if I win :wink:

My main problem with TI/MD build is that too many people are using it, not that it's super invincible or the instant magic formula to success. I don't use that build yet I consistently beat, often demolish these players. I used to think like a lot of you here, that it's a crazy build that can't be countered and you have to join them to win but it's not. It's about getting good at playing the game and being smart about your tennis. Get your tactics in order, learn to hit perfect timing shots, learn the best ways to defend and attack against them and it's not as impossible as you think it is. If you can't think up a way to deal with this setup where other people can then perhaps you're just not good enough yet and need to get better.

Well said tiger. I refuse to get a setup majority of people are using just so I can win. The games here for us to enjoy. Believe it or not when I'm losing to itastallion or other players 6-0 6-0 I find a way to take somethin from it.

he beat me two times in a row yesterday....I'm def not a bad player, but the way he kicked my ass I felt really skill-less lol....and I have te TI/MD setup as well.
