Allowed or not?

Postby xMFHxMataiiBANNED » Sun, 10 Apr 2011 07:22

Hi All,

I just played a great fun game with And630 -

And at the end he said as part of ITST I shouldn't have served some out wide to his forehand? Where does it say that if anywhere? Is it allowed?

I read the rules for TS3 and it says it is considered 'cheesy' yet I dont know if that still applies to TS4 and if it actually isn't allowed? What about the Beserker serve and all the rest then? lol

no in game rules for TS4 yet
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

I mean not sure what you mean.

Maybe if it's to your forehand. I understand what he is saying.

You know on the deuce side the player stand by default a bit more wide. And as a bug in TS4 he moves more to the tramlines by himself. So after a few games IF someone serves outwide a lot it becomes a real pain to return that.

In TS3 it was not allowed to serve from the tramlines. We do not have such rules in TS4 yet. But I always try to look that my player doesn't move to far from the default position .

New here. Hoping to sign up for some tournaments. However, I'm also wondering about a few of the unwritten rules. Historically, has there been anything against people focusing on bulking up their power stat? This always seemed 'cheesy' to me. Is there, for example, a rule that says a player's power should be no more than 80?

Why would there be a problem with serving to the forehand side? I presume you're referring to either the slice serve out wide or standing by the tramline to serve. The former is ok to me if a person is not spamming it. The latter probably isn't great 'sportsmanship' but it's easily counterable. It leaves so much space down the line to hit into and you know where they are going to serve all the time...

tell me about it!!!

i beat a guy the other night in WT who had power 100 and was blasting all his shots from the baseline without much precision, i win a few points with drop shots to take advantage of him being at the baseline and after the match he calls me a cheeser!!!

needless to say I reminded him of who had power 100 after the match!!
