he was using the colored analogy to represent two sides of a business.
Because a single black person stole off him he benchmarked all black people as thiefs and never hired them again(Not being able to use pro players). What he was doing with the whites was saying just because one system is working well doesn't mean it's the correct system (Using only custom players)

But instead it should be a mix of the two until a poll with atleast 100 votes has been tallied saying otherwise.

As of right now i see no proof so to speak of pro's been overpowered in anyway and if anything gives more variety in my choice against my opponent by letting me choose pro and custom.

Say for example i want a custom that plays like Blake errrr i an't cause the system doesn't allow me to make a Blake clone therefore limiting my choices and leaving me in alot of frustration as i tried for hours to create a custom like Blake hence making less newcomers come to the community hence limiting my opponents to a few instead of many more.

i think we need to do a poll here......

Customs for ITST Tournaments

Customs & Pro's for ITST Tournaments

with majority going on to be our ITST Tournaments

How many players on the TS4 tour actually go on the forum, though??

That's not a rhetorical question I'm really curious.

Not that anybody could really know that, but I'd be willing to bet it's not even near 70%

You missing the point. I am anything but closed minded.

I simply showed you that it can never be proven, we all will argue till we are blue.

Wait so not trying it because can't be proven or disproven. I think would be a good idea to try it out for month and see reaction, if people hate it remove it.

As I said earlier, the tour is cutoms only. Other tours will be considered, but only as addition, primary tour will remain as such.

What I am saying is that even if it is evident to one that pros are overpowered, there always will be opposition.

Then if you create an additional tour for it (with pros), maybe make it a "freestyle" tour, eg, pros + custom (should not be a problem as customs are considered weaker). This will probably provide a good experiment/testing field for future tweaks.

I actually like this idea.

By the way Djarvik, maybe 1 or 2 pros are too overpowered. So you could just ban those pros to make it even.

Also, it can be proven. If one month down the road everyone is using only Nadal and Roddick, then they are overpowered. If there is some variety, than they aren't overpowered. So far I haven't played a pro in either of my warm-up matches...

Especially now that there are 18 Male Pros included in the game it's really worthwhile to create a Pro/Freestyle-Tour.

I would like nothing more then for it to work, if you remember I was pushing for this before the game came out. But now that it is out - I take it back.

Example: I want to use a custom and I think Pros are too good, extra skill and more xp. Now if pros allowed I feel kinda screwed. If pros are not allowed, then the playing field is even.

With all due respect to people who like pros, there are tons of others who like to create their own players.

And another ton of players who like to create stacked players ...

I feel kind of screwed when my pro is facing a player with 98 on power and serve ...

We do not need weeks of tournaments to prove that everything is completely unbalanced ... it's a bloody mess!
