FINALLY got time to get the game and make a start - time was too short previously with various commitments - would have been masochistic to have bought earlier and not been able to play ; )

For my thruppence am LOVING it so far - not done much, having said that - just really started on career mode - the 'unlearning' of TS3 styles (mostly right and left button play) is not as difficult as I envisioned - loving it loving loving it!!!!

Look forward to getting online once have developed at least a semblance of skill : )

See y'all presently!

Rich : )

Hey Rich,

Nice to hear it man :)

We should get those online matches back on - lets see if TS4 is any kinder to you than men's was in TS3

I still need to create a women's custom player! However if I see you online we will have to have a bash in women's singles. Is Miss Cheek or whatever she was called going to make a return?! We can use the Pro's in the interim...

Take it easy pal

Hey man!! Yeah, v gracious of you....don't think it was lack of kindness I suffered from re mens game in TS3, rather utter inability to use risk......which, of course is no more.....! So we see how I go : )

Ahhh, me fond lady Tray Cheek....one and only female char I ewe created or played with in TS3......served me well, excuse the pun - in fairness I only went down that road out of despair at lack of success in mens game....so from that perspective I'm hoping not to have to dust her off and get her out of the cupboard!

Am only still at under level 10 in my career.....still very much finding my feet.....look forward greatly to playing when have the L-plates off!!! Loved our matches in TS3, mens and womens : )

See on court soon my friend!!

Rich

lol!!!! i may have up-screwed....

in my...enthusiasm/lack of smarts....i've set off on my career....i've set the CPU at 'very hard' - that's no real problem as can be adjusted....but haven't had to yet....am only at level 6 so far...hasn't been easy, but hasn't been massively difficult....however....I picked 'real tennis' scoring....6 games/set....best of 3 sets......jaysis.....just took me an hour to win a final...in March....the 2nd tournament....!!?!!?!????

and i don't believe i can change this now.....sigh....ah well....will be familiar with the controls by the end of the season lol!!!!

At this point in your career, it would probably be quicker to start a new one with the shortest match length...

Well be prepared to have your career take another week or two then, instead of a day or two.

Take the quick route, maybe even on very easy, and get the fast player creator unlocked. Then, if you still feel like some punishment, go through it the hard way.

taking the quick route alright....back to the shop with TS4 : ) Not for me - if I want space-invaders, I'll play space-invaders...not some 'tennis' game dressed up as a sports effort. Hi ho. Disappointed hugely, but there you have it. Maybe see people on TS3.
