Sinna vs. VFBFan2009 (Roland Garros)

Postby o Sinna o » Mon, 21 Mar 2011 23:58

First off all. I have found my first true Master in this Guy. We played five Matches and he has won all five. Three of them I played with my OFB Acebomb and two with my DFB/OFB Mix.

This Guy is playing the Game straight like Virtua Tennis only by using Powershots. He was a big Number in Virtua Tennis and TS4 has a few same Aspects like we already know. He dominated at leat 70 to 80 % of the Rallies we played.

Characters:

We both had the same Skills "Serve Stick Berserker and Focus Service".

Hehe why not. I would have nothing against it if they tweak it but I also have nothing against it if it stays like it is.

But this Outside Slice Serve from the Deuceside is crazy.

Look in the Character and Tactics Area if you want to know what I mean.

Maybe this is part of the downside to choosing a character like yours

Maybe some of the extra Skills can help you come up with an answer to this serve.

Yeah could really be but in this Case everybody would be forced to have this Extra Skill against such a Serve.

But I know what you mean. I was only asking becasue I thought you made already surely a Experience with this Serve.

Djarvik already said he explored nothing cheesy in this Game so maybe he know a lil bit more how to counter that.

What do you think Guys?

But you know what? i really think you are right or at least I can imagine it.

Because the Game is programed that Patrick Rafter uses this Serve on very hard against you.

And I can't imagine they implemented a cheesy CPU Tactic if you can't do anything against it.

I'll try it out with the Pros. Maybe the Skill Return serve counter helps but I wouldn't be to sure.

So I try ith with Djokovic against Rafter. Man I didn't play with Djokovic once yet by the Way. What a Shame isn't it? ^^

Tbh your timing was off for most of your returns. Probably a return down the line could work if he plays s&v, and a short cross-court if he stays back.

Also your reflex stat isn't too high.

It's like watching Karlovic vs Isner.

I just hope that a more balanced character will be able to exploit such a stacked setup.

I guess the good thing about Sinna's videos is that they're stopping me from plopping down any cash for a new console. :P Still can't get over how many clean winners you hit with bad timing - and not even the "orange" bad, but the "red" warning.

His outwide serves arent even that bad, play norberto.

And with a better stat on reflex you could have put him in a more defensive position off those outwide serves

Is this the game you were talking about when complaining on out wide serves? If so, I hate to be the one to say it but that's nowhere near as bad as what is possible. He was serving from the centerline. I've played guys in world tour standing on the outside and then slamming serves far wide.

Most of the time you can't get to them at all. If you do, it's a reaching shot that leaves you off the court and unable to move for a few seconds. The next shot of course is an easy hit down the opposite for a winner. If you try to move outside to get in a better position for that outside serve, the server now has an easy gap down the centline to ace at will.
