I think that on their day Arsenal play more attractive football than Barca, however Barca are so much better at doing it.
No doubt however that Arsenal played boring last night

I was only talking about that Barça/Arsenal match...
(And yes, i do believe that Arsenal, Barça (and some others) play the most attractive football in europe.... so yes, it was one of the greatest match we'll have this season...)
You say Arsenal tactics and gameplays are similar to InterMilan "defensive tactics"?.... Well, sorry but that only shows you don't seem to know what you talk about...
And i guess we all agree that anything can happen in a soccer match... So thinking about that, and seeing how it was going, Arsenal COULD have win the qualification... (Just think about old matchs like Liverpool/Milan in that crazy CL Final, France/Germany (82), Bayern/Manu (99)......)
That said, i obviously thought Barça was playing greater...

End of the dispute please. everyone has a different idea of football. Therefore, not only you're always right. and I do not have less knowledge of football. why cant you let one's opinion without a sentence like you have no idea about football blah blah .... im German and believe me we love football more then any other sport. i know that Arsenal plays better in Premier League but yesterday they suck. you should also accept other opinions without claiming and telling that the others have no idea of football.
thats very kindy in my opinion.

I agree with you man! And do respect your likes and dislikes...
But i was not talking about quality... I was only talking about the fact that Arsenal could have win the qualif, and how the referee killed one of the most exciting match of the season... And you kinda start talking about quality of gameplay etc... And that was not really my point... ;)

Well anything could have happened but they did only have one shot on goal and I think that was own goal so yeah, it would be hard for anyone to say that the deciding factor. Sure it didn't help them but the match looked no different with van p sent off.

There is a point that wenger was waiting but sometimes playing the 'safe' option is not the best way to go, unless you inter :P.

Also barca disallowed a legit goal first leg so even more reason for people not to say barca lucky.

I'm not sure to understand you well, but so far, i doubt we have seen the same match... :(
Arsenal was far from just waiting, far from playing Inter defensive ways...
But, as in any "soccer bar", i'm afraid we won't go far in that "discussion"... : "Arsenal was playing Inter tactics! They only shot 1 time, they deserve the loss..."
"No, they were trying counter attack tactics (wich is not waiting only!), and it was on its way to be efficient when the referee red carded VanPersie..."
"No, they were beeing outplayed, it was no doubt they were on the way for the defeat..."
On and on.... :?
But that what is funny about soccer too, right? Endless discussions... ^^

There is counter attacking and there is that lol. I don't blame the ref for making match less exciting, wenger made a decision to play a certain style and it didn't work. Counter attack without the attack.

It a sad day for football when not even arsenal will attack barca.

I'm a barca fan and it always the same stuff with every team that comes to camp nou.

"on its way to working" Also the one shot was by busquets.

Maybe we weren't maybe you watching first leg ;) When arsenal played great.

It shouldn't even be debate really. Harsh call against the team that was dominated.

1st time in history an english team has not had a shot on goal. There are jsut too many stats that show how one sided it was. I know saying countr attack so of course more possession and shots by barca but arsenal didn't even have one shot on target that just crazy.

Sorry but, yep, it was... When VanPersie is redcarded, it's 1-1, and it's Arsenal winning the qualif...
I almost vomit when you said that "I don't blame the ref..." thing. How the hell can you say that?
You really don't want to believe that anything can happen in a soccer match... And there it was working for Arsenal!
Soccer, sometimes, is not only about "who shots the most"... And stop saying Arsenal was playing without trying to attack, to PLAY, cause that is when i think we haven't seen the same match... If you compare Arsenal with Barça, then ok, but that's not the point here... The point is that, without playing Inter Defensive tactics (no counter attack, not "playing"), the Arsenal counter attacking plans were doing all right... And they were "PLAYING" soccer (or trying to)...
And Barça can loose also... Only have to see how sometimes they play suicidal soccer : defensive wings always attacking without beeing covered, some unbelievable short passes from the midfield to central defense...
Oh!... And know that, to me, best moments for Arsenal were in the beginning of that 2nd period, when the referee released Barça from high stress!

Pfff... But what the hell... let's end this...
I'm tired of trying to explain the obvious... Arsenal had its plans, it was working, it was not anti-soccer way of playing (like Inter), and Barça has been "saved" by the referee (though i'm well aware that Barça could have win without that ref incident...)

Congrats to Barça, they highly deserved it... (and i do mean this! At 200%!) ;)

i wondered me that nobody was talking about the first match between ARSENAL -BARCELONA .

this match was much more better than the second match. it was a modern football demonstration from both teams.

ARSENAL had his chances ,when i see both matches i think barcelona deserved to reach next round .

someone saw the match inter mailand vs. bayern münchen ?

INTER HOLY SHIZ. They are some damn tough buggers.

I had to stop watching at 2-1 and everyone going no chance to inter and i must admit I kind of thought same, but never underestimate them.

Eto is very impressive player.
