Thanks, that sounds reasonable.
Who knows, maybe there'll be a way to swap save games via USB or by hooking the Xbox HDD to the PC or something, so that we won't even have to do those 3 playthroughs.

There is no longer a glitch, it is incorporated into the game. Once you complete the career mode once, you can make any player level 20 ( the highest level). However you will not have access to all 100 coaches. To get all coaches you will have to essentially play the career made 3 times each with a different style ( offensive baseliner, defensive baseliner, and serve and villager).

Actually, it looked like the coaches had small requirements to fulfill in order to unlock their bonuses. So my guess is you will NOT have to play the entire career to use the coach you want, just a few matches completing the appropriate requirements. You may even be able to fulfill the requirements with online matches, so you don't need to play career at all after you do it once.

Coaches will show up as soon as you accumulate XP and elevate in Levels. Obviously the choices you make in your Player Development will dictate the coaches that contact you. Some coaches may show up because you have reached a certain level in a Tennis Strategy while others require specific combination of Strategy Levels to show up. For instance, an excellent All-Rounder coach may appear only if your Level in each Tennis Strategy is 6 or more.

Now I think about it, you might need atleast 5 or 6 playthroughs to get all possible coaches. Maybe? Serve and volleyer, Big server, All-rounder, offensive baseliner, defensive baseliner, counter puncher. Ofcourse some might argue that a counter puncher and defensive baseliner are the same, but imo the are differences.

I never really played the career mode in any of the tennis games I played so far. Well, as usual I'll start playing with the pro players to get the hang of it. Maybe someone will figure something out in the meantime.

No i dont think that is true, because I believe there is only 3 playing styles.
1. Offensive baseliner
2. Defensive baseliner
3. Serve and Volleyer.

I thought about it too until i re-read what I posted from dev diary 4

An All-Rounder would have 7-7-6. An offensive baseliner would have a wider gap in offense than defense/s&v. Same for a defensive baseliner and S&V. So in other words the only way to get that

is to create an All-Rounder. Off/def baseliner, and s&v would not have 7-7-6, so they would miss that specific coach that requires you to have 6 or more in each. Same holds for big server and s&v, since the big server would have better strokes a big server specific coach might only appear if you have atleast 9 in s&v and 6 in offense. Whereas a specific s&v coach might only appear if you have a 10 in s&v and 6 in defense. (I'm just tossing numbers out there.)
I'm not sure if that's how it's going to be, but that sentence of a coach only appearing if you have 6 or more in each made me believe so because the only way to get that coach would be to have an all-rounder. Meaning, we might need to play more than 3 times. Assuming you want all the coaches that is.
Actually now I think about it maybe once you finished the career mode and can make unlimited lvl 20 characters, the moment you create a certain playstyle and win a couple matches the new coaches will appear to you. Rather than having to go through the whole career again and unlocking them as you go. Who knows.

1st thing 2k should is fixing matchmaking problems ending in a default loss in WT mode. And also not finding any players after 10 attempts...

I wanna start by saying I'm a huge fan of Top Spin 4! To me it is by far the best in the series, although not without some flaws. The major problem I have with the game is the drastic change in the player's service motion when opting to serve and volley. Another issue I have is with the lack of accuracy to what you guys refer to as "signature style/shots" as most of the shots do not resemble the real life pros specific swings serves etc. Would love it if you guys would listen to fan feedback and address these issues!

Sorry ... But for me it's not an issue... I just don't care how is my player's serve motionned or if he has a signature style / shot...
But I DO CARE about the game bugs or flaws like unbalanced setup or stutter steps...
