henman probably, lol

Nope sorry,Henman was in the last game therefore he can't count as one of the 4 remaining NEW players to the series....same for Edberg. But there is not counting how many "returning" players made the game so in reality both could be in!

Nothing more to be said DJ...

I'm liking the higher difficulty level of TS3 and TS4... the fact that you have to work at it to be good makes it more worth buying than the pick up and dominate style of VT09 and possibly VT4. Granted, strategy plays more of a role in VT4 and there's still the dimension of player creativity in shot choice... but it's so one dimensional with the lack of unforced errors. (i.e. playing a full match with 1 unforced error...which was a mishit off a smash beamed at your face at the net.)

Either way TS4 wins in my book!!!!

Bravo DJarvik :D

Thanks guys! :)

This was purely Roster analysis. I am not a fan of VT game play either. TS3 set the standard so high for me, that VT is simply a "challenger" level game now. Not even in the same tour really. Top Spin - ATP Grand Slam, while VT is a WTA Challenger level. Both can be fun, but the complexity is with TS games for sure.

I thought VT was quite fun and had quite a bit of variety. But maybe that is because I always try to experiment with an all-court/net-rushing strategy.

I voted for TS4. I was a bit disappointed with Virtua Tennis. TS4 looks promising!

did you ever play VT2? man it was like wimbledon in 1995, you near enough had to serve and volley to win!

You're not the only one who thinks it's fun

People think just because the controls are very simple and you can't hit UE's, that it's a simple or stupid game. It's very very hard to master and there's a lot more emphasis on footwork and getting in the right position, very quickly.

Agreed. Footwork, positioning, shot selection were all very important in VT3. I don't believe these were AS important in TS3.

add me to the agreement tally.

TS3 had wonderful magic LB button that put you in position for perfect shot every time.
