Officially the most one sided final since Agassi beat Schuttler. Novak simply better in every department, Novak has grown up a lot, got his serve back, looks physically strong and maybe this time is truly ready to step up as Nadals main challenger at the Slams.

Has any man lost there first three slam finals (in straights not to mention) and then won one? Lendl lost a few didn't he?

I was in the kitchen making some food with the match on the TV in my room...and, swear to god, I felt a disturbance in the force and walked to my room right as Djokovic was serving on match point. I knew something terrible was about to happen.

Why can't the Mutant for once start playing some tennis in the big matches? I mean, attacking, going for his shots and so on? He can't hope to win any major by feeding on his opponents' pace adn errors...
Ban Djokovic forever!

Updated...

Andy Murray in a Grand Slam final:

Sets played: 9
Sets won: 0

Bad for Murray. Bad for tennis.

Moving forward, Murray's only hope...

If you cannot kill off the short balls at this level it is not going to cut it. Problem is he is stubborn, Mum probably tells him what he wants to hear but it's time to cut the apron strings.

ahhh interesting angle there gentleman... but it's true... for somebody as "talented" as Murray, he shouldn't be struggling so much in the finals as he has.

Secondly, the way Djoko manhandled Federer (...oh, ok Roger ur gonna run around ur backhand in the ad court to hit a forehand down the line eh?? Ok... I'm just gonna...SMACK this forehand short crosscourt on the service line for a winner!... EAT IT FED!!! ::massive fist pump and stare down:: ...) I mean he TOOK it to Fed...and said BEAT ME @&*#$!!!!!!  :devil

...lemme catch my breath...

So... Djoko is definitely ready...

Lame final, but I like watching Djokovic more than ever so far this year. Great tournament from him, he was really frustrating Murray by floating those lobby defense shots right onto the baseline. Happened over and over on near winners from Murray.

What about that one? 8)

On another note - was a crap final. Djokovic played really well, which was shown when murray had his good spells and djoko still humped him. Was hoping for more of a contest though :?

It sure as hell won't get any easier. to win 6 matches is darn tough, 7 is exceptional. however if he won one, i think he will win a couple more. He needs to get to a final and have someone fluke their way to a final, so he can win easily! haha
