After the US Open I decided I no longer wanted to continue playing boring ITST matches, I thought there were a lot of unenjoyable matches out there and I didn't see the point any more. Still occasionally play sim friendlies tho, but only against players I enjoy playing, I just beat Villa there :D

DRII over Riley in 4 sets...

I've had some tough losses to Riley lately so I decided to change things up, because to do the same thing and expect different results is insane :?

So I change my service position to right at the tee, and vary service spins. Long story short, it works both in the medibank final and Australian quarter. I was able to somewhat neutralize Riley's return, which is one of the best in the game. Very difficult matches.

QF:patko7 defeats swifty: 7-6,7-6,7-6

Again a three-tiebreaker in three matches  unbelieveble , its not something to be proud of lol.
What can I say, swifty plays very agressive tennis in this match. He served very well, and it was difficult to return and have a longer rally with him because he hit the balls so hard. For myself I served very well today, not much aces but more with variation. I was hitting not much unforced erros en the risks shots helped me to make the difference I think.

Next round probaly against Nitoflament, hope to have a good match. 8)

Hey man. That had to be a deep match. Congrats on the win. I am trying to stay up-to-date on the other tours.

I see you did not make it to the final round:

That is okay. You gave it your all man!

@Q.Reese: Yeah it was a very hard match, at the first set in the tie-break we got a connection fail which was very chit  . I Lost the tie-break and I was not concentrate in the beginning of the second set. Nito breaked my serv in the very first game of the second. After the second set I toked more risks and more powerful groundstrokes to dominate the rally. It works which was fine and I won the tie-break. The fourth set tiebreaker I had 3 setpoints to finish the set but the luck was not on my side.
It was a good semi final and a I'm happy for make it so far in a GS.

Very good man. That is the right view point. There is no use crying with the result you put "Down Under." :D

I will follow-up on your game in the next grand slam event for sure!
