Brilliant to see representative of this amazing work here with us!!!! It's tempered only with a slight nervousness, no doubt the product of an overly cynical mind - specifically, while it's great to see you here....i might be more comfortable (less nervous!) with having a rep from the coding team here, perhaps as well as a rep from marketing! To clear up any offence, unintended - I work in I.T. and we only tend to send marketing in when a product (not to get too Dilbert on things)....needs to be 'refocused' (is that marketing vernacular!?) or 'rebranded' to 'modify expectations'.

Please take this in the spirit intended Ronnie - I have nothing but respect, if not sheer awe at what has been achieved in this series to date!!

Top Spin 4 features the largest roster in the franchise to date, including Andre Agassi, Bjorn Borg, Roger Federer, Jim Courier, Rafael Nadal, Boris Becker, Serena Williams, Patrick Rafter, Michael Chang, Dinara Safina, Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic, Ana Ivanovic, Ivan Lendel, Pete Sampras, Andy Roddick, James Blake, Caroline Wozniacki, Nikolay Davydenko, Gilles Simon, Bernard Tomic, Eugenie Bouchard, Stanislas Wawrinka, Vera Zvonareva, and Jelena Jankovic.

what about Seles, Clijsters, Graf and Sharapova ?
that's really disappointing

We all have our favorites, but I'm sure there's some legal stuff 2K must deal with. Many sports games run into problems with licences, contracts, sponsors etc etc. As a developer you can't just pick and choose. :)

Edberg would've been nice though.

I think they should just make a cheeky deal with the ATP. Blah blah image rights blah blah, the ATP should just be like "play on our tour, you are part of the ATP, we can sell you."

There will be a demo closer to release time. More news on that as I have it.

Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

Regardless of roster size btw, our character creator is amongst the most sophisticated there is. Tennis, as you know, is difficult as you have to reach arrangements with every individual player. So we must choose who and weigh them against bringing in venues. The sophisticated character creator should be able to help you fill in any holes with the roster that you want to see.

thanks for the answer, this is very nice to hear. We know how the licensing works in tennis, it must be difficult and time consuming.
Now if could just be a bit more precise, for exemple how many slots there are for created characters? Can created characters be in the tournaments of career mode?
thanks again!

Your presence on the forum is greatly appreciated Ronnie2k.

Is there going to be any 'downloadable content' (DLC) for the fourth installment of TS4?
Seems I can't cross that threshold just yet :(

As i said in my thread, why did 2k not put a single female legend in the game? There's 10 male pro's, 8 male legends.....yet 6 female's pros(plus that junior girl) and no female legends. What gives?

I understand this and have one wish (that may be rather late) - to be able to put created pros in tournaments for me to face as opponents. Even better would be to be able to put them in career mode too. :D
