like the last year Davy seems to be so strong, Rafa lost 1st set 3-6. I hope Rafa has the same year he had in 2010

Nadal was dizzy, had ankle and knees problems, stomach flu, no rest, headache and generally was playing at 0.00020%

To be fair though he does have a decent record against nadal, he's definetely beat him a few times.

I think Davys game just eats up Nadals top spins. Where Gulbis was misfiring, Davy was feeding on his shots. Nadal needed to come to net more and flatten out his shots. And avoid BH to BH rallies.....he will lose that one with Davy every-time.

I am sure Nadal knows his record against Davy and doesn't think much of this one match.

I said it jokingly, but to be truthful - yeah, Nadal was not playing well and seemed bothered by something. likely a pain of some-sort. You know, one of those pains that is not strong enough for you to quit, but is strong enough to take attention away.

this is true, he could also try and force davydenko forward, as its well known he doesn't have a good net game. Although he does have a really good drop volley

Even an in form, injury free Nadal would have struggled to beat Davydenko today. Let's be honest, Davydenko plays like a machine when he's on fire.
