Injuries among ITST players

Postby Tantsutallinn » Fri, 22 Oct 2010 12:18

It may seem a funny topic, but i want to know what kind of injuries have influenced you, so that you couldnt play or you had to postpone your ITST game. For example i cut the top of my left thumb when i was slicing tomatoes in the kitchen and couldn't play for 3 days   and i tried to play too soon in the second day and had to retire from match (thankfully not ITST), cos thumb started bleeding. I guess it's the end of season or my body is just falling apart :D

Great topic, haha!

I have also cut important fingers slicing tomatoes, I now use a much smaller knife. Besides my thumbs/fingers being sprained or cut, I've never been 'injured' enough (LMAO!) to not play a match.

However, the first few weeks I played TS3, I developed a weird callous on the top of my right thumb from pressing and holding buttons so often. If Rob had not told me about ITST, I would have given up right when my thumb was "ITST ready."

The only injury that could deter me from playing an ITST match or make me retire within would be someone cutting off my arms, legs, penis, testicles, extracting my teeth and eyes and sewing up my mouth.

If he forgot just one of those body parts I'd find a way to play and would still kick your asses.
