WRONG. I was pleasantly surprised, it started out as I expected, and without giving too much away....

spoilers?

it evolved into a lord of the flies story in the Half Life universe. Very intense last 40 minutes.

I guess I should have posted a picture?

haha, no need to apologize... I just figured nobody had seen it when I talked about it. But yeah, very interesting movie. The previews didn't do it justice.

Darko was one of my favorite movies for a LONG time. I've actually just watched it again last week for the first time in over 5 years, but damn... I must have seen it at least 8-10 times.
Really cool movie. Great soundtrack as well.

Side note - one of my friends misheard the line from Frank in the movie theater, which led to a 3 year joke in my group of friends. He heard:

Have you ever seen... a porno?

Instead of portal, lmao! Try sneaking up and whispering that in someone's ear in the same tone as the movie, the reactions are priceless.

speaking of the ending, I love how they used the song so well. One of the few movies I like on how the song at the end of the movie relates so well!!

Yeah, for sure. That song is pretty pansy overall and I'd change the channel if it came on the radio, but it works perfectly for the end of the film.

BTW -Darko is certainly a movie worth watching at least 2 times.... You know what happens now, and there's so much going on (foreshadowing) during the movie that you surely missed. I recommend a second viewing in fewer than 5 weeks.

I actually saw Tears for Fears live, once. At 'Inland Invasion' I think.

They were awful...
