Risk shots in Rally's !

Postby berkynine » Mon, 13 Sep 2010 15:26

Can someone explain me something?

The LT AND RT buttons isn't allowed in the normal tournaments right?
in the Simulation tour it is allowed right? because i see many players hitting the RT button in a rally very frustating! :o
because now i play topspin 3 on the xbox and in the past i played topspin on the PC and there it wasn't allowed to use risk shots so can someone explain me ? is it allowed or not in normal men's single matches ?

Greets,

berkynine(newbie btw)

Actually I think it does state in the info section that the risk and drop shot are not allowed in the sim tour...

I guess this is an outdated section or only pertains to pc tours, because many use both in the sim tour.

Not only do we host a standard Tour, we also host a so-called 'SIM-Tour'. In this Tour it is not allowed to use the drop shot and risk shot. Many players don't like the abuse of risks and drops, and they much rather play sim style. In addition to that we also host Women's and Doubles events.

in TS3 the risks are much more realistic....as said before in tennis you must take a risk to win....TS1 i could risk a million times in a row without missing...almost same thing with TS2....but in TS3 these risks are much harder to pull off

This is referring specifically to TS1, a game where you could actually see your opponent's risk meter, so you could tell if they were hitting a risk or not. This has no relevance to TS3 in any way and I wish they'd just remove it already, so it stops confusing newbs...
