wow jon- this is worst .
when this happens to me -i think this would be the start for a big drama with the hotel staff
hopefully you got your money back what you payed for ordering the UFC event?

you really dissmissed a incredible event.
yeah the first fight was "big country" nelson against junior dos santos was awesome .
"big country"really impressed me to go over the distance with the smashing machine dos santos.
but at end of the day he had no chance against dos santos.
dos santos is no in nr.1 spot contender tofight against the winner LESNAR vs. VELASQUEZ !!

you will hear my opinions about the other fights ?
or you are planing to watch the event without any information ?

i really can say you missed a big event.

BTW: i wish you a nice time in your hollidays.
where you make your hollydays exactly ?
i can´t wait till i go to my hollydays in goa ,starting in november or december.
this year i planing to stay 12 weeks (last year i could stay only 4 weeks)

yeah that was incredible.
sonnen dominated silve totally for 4 1/2 rounds .
silva survived and used his chance with a armbar in R 5 and sonnen tapped out.
a very very lucky win for SILVA

you saw the struve - morecraft fight??
that was hardcore.
struve got his ass kicked in round 1.that was unbelieveble .

he eat bombs for 2 fights in one round - everybody thought he is done .
the doctor was short before to stopp the fight .
and than round 2 started...........
struve brings in a left right left combination and morcraft goes KO:
that was soooo crazy .

BTW:someone know the SENGOKU RAIDEN fightseries??

What do you think about UFC 118,

RANDY COUTURE vs. JAMES TONEY

MMA vs. Boxing

I guess Couture will win via G&P or submission...if not Toney lands a clean punch an win via KO.

its interresting to see MMA vs BOXING (very popular question at time :"who is better ")

my prognose to the fight is same than yours

COUTURE will try to press TONEY at the cage to bring him down to end him with ""ground and pound" or submission
and TONEY is trying to hold the fight in stand up to knock him out.

i think TONEY knocked COUTURE out .

but honestly i´´m more interrested to see in UFC 118 the re-fight between EDGAR vs.PENN

the first fight was incredible . this will be a war .

BTW: where you will watch it ?

I don t watch it live on stream.

Do you know the K-1 forum "K-1 fans"?
They post all fights within 1-2 hours after the event, so i can download it.

Hey GOA,

just saw your ITST record for 2010:
- 17 matches played overall
- 0 SIM matches
- last match on may 31th

Did you lost the motivation to play? Don t want to play the US Open?

RAE and me also had a break, but we are coming back soon.

no i don´´t know the side. just know the good old -K1sport.de
i made a look on the other K1-friends side you mentioned.
i will create a account soon to go deeper into the side.
maybe i have than 1-2 more questions to you
my way to watch UFC is morE traditionell-
i got the event mostly at next day over torrentday .
UFC EVENTS + preliminary fights are allways available next day in HD quality or in normal xvid quality.

so i watch every event from UFC .since a long long time
also i watch every event from STRIKEFORCE (did you know that allistaier overreem is strikeforce heavyweightchampion??)
remember me we talked about him because he fights the K1 grand prix final (against BADR HARI)
YOU KNOW I LIKE STANDUP FIGHTING ALOT(more than jiu jitsu and wrestling) -SO I TRY TO WATCH EVERY K1-EVENT I CAN FIND.

but sometimes its difficult to find the events.
any idears or links to find downloadable K1 events???

BTW:
yeah i noticed that you and RAE played less tournaments in past
i stopped playing TS3 a long in past. (before summer)
it bored me to play after nearly 2 years of playing this VIDEOGAME.
you know ,when the cold time was over here in good old germany ,i stopped playing TS3.
i love the sun -- to go OUTSIDE and to meet friends and new people
esspecially i like the girls with short clothes in summer -  -
so i was alot on the way outside in the sun .
forward i visited much much music festivals and alot of great parties. also i had different girlfriends in past where also need time -
girls needs allways time to feel special

so i had no fun with TS3 anymore -and was totally bored from TS3 .
and so i stopped TS3 completly.
I MADE NO "STOPPING TS3 CARRIERE THREAD " LOL
also i had less time and fun to visit the forum.
i like it more to hangarround with real friends where respect me .

i wish you good luck by playing US open.
will watch the results for sure

Ok, thanks for telling me.

RAE took a break because his relationship with his girlfriend came to an end after 2 years.
On July 4th the problems started and they were seperated, on August 1st she finish the relationship on a dirty way, and he was down the last 3 weeks.
But now he starts to recover...met a new girl already for dating... not together yet, but it looks good.

Do you maybe come back if the weather starts to get worser (October/November - February/March)?

feel sorry for RAE.
hope he take head on and go forward.
allways think............
other mothers also have nice daughters  !!!

thats why i ´´am a free single .
not interrested for relationship ,just low relationships ,for a short time .
so i have the controll. and i can do all, what i like to do

wish you and RAE only the best .
and no - i think i don´´t come back to play the TS3 TOUR .
also not in winter
this game just bored me -
its wasting of time for me at moment.
maybe i play daviscup -so he started some times

by the way ,where is SLICER??
didn´´t see him long time arround here.
also not after his vacation
he also quits ITST??

James Toney is a future hall of famer, a boxer who ranks alongside the very top echelon of the all-time great middleweights, as well as being a quality fighter at super-middle, light heavy, cruiserweight and even in the heavyweight division. He compares favourably to legends like Marvin Hagler, Harry Greb, Carlos Monzon, Archie Moore, Michael Spinks etc etc. That is how good Toney was at his peak, a brilliant fighter.
Not now. He's nowhere remotely near that type of level now. His meaningful career in the ring is over. That's why he is taking on this Couture guy.

This is probably going to be a scenario where a ring legend is being thrown about by a bloke who would not last 30 seconds under the Marquess of Queensberry Rules - it's nonsense.

If Toney lands the first punch on the button the fight is over. Problem is that that's not Toney's style to be ultra-aggressive and start out in a type of balls-to-the-wall manner. James Toney primarily has and always will be a counter-puncher.

Bottom line is this Couture character is well schooled in the art of grappling, Toney is not. That's the big difference and what will decide the outcome of this 'fight'.

Hey bloufo,

just saw you are from South Africa.

Do you know former heavyweight boxer Corrie Sanders of Pretoria? The guy who knocked out Wladimir Klitschko in 2003?

I think you've asked me the very same question before somewhere in this thread?

Anyway, Sanders was one of our better heavyweights to come out of SA.
Very fast hands for a HW and was good enough and a solid enough counter-puncher that could trouble most of the heavyweights of his era.

A couple of my mates and I ran into Corrie at Loftus (it's primarily a rugby stadium in Pretoria) during a Blue Bulls Super 14 rugby game.
He's a very friendly guy but just looks like he's fallen on tough times with a few failed investments and so most of his boxing accumulated wealth is gone now. Felt kinda sorry for him looking the way he did but I'll always remember him as a classy fighter that had KO power and gave us our money's worth whenever he fought.

I'm sorry but LOL

Come on man I expect more from you.

Also, if anything, MMA is a much better simulation of an actual 'fight', so no need to put 'fight' in quotes, you know???

I still love you though :P

No doubt Couture wouldn't last a minute with Toney at his peak under boxing rules, but THIS AIN'T BOXING, so that's totally, TOTALLy irrelevant!!!

IN all seriousness, Couture is NOT one of my favorite fighters, the guy is a friggin' BORE to watch, he basically just uses his freakish wrestling ability and tenacity to wear down opponents by basically laying on them and not letting them up, while landing a few elbows/ground strikes in the process. Not the most exciting fighter by a long shot but a hell of an effective fighter, and he will no doubt dismantle Toney. I'm actually kind of excited about having a world-class level boxing striker in the UFC, but let's be honest he is a massive underdog in this fight. Anyways who really cares, both fighters are well past their primes and this fight is basically nothing more than a freak show...either way it really proves nothing no matter who wins.

One final edit...you mention this being a situation where a ring legend is thrown around by 'some bloke'...well dude, Couture is not just 'some bloke' the guy really is a legend in his own right, and Toney knew exactly what he was getting into when he signed the contract for this MMA fight. It's not nonsense, it's not like Toney was coerced into doing this, it's all him. If/when Toney loses, it doesn't mean that he's any less a fantastic boxer (which I agree, he is), it just means he's not an MMA fighter....yet. We'll see, maybe Toney will turn out to be a total MMA beast if he works on his grappling. Doubt it, but would be fun to see
