Maximo is on fire!! You were too good today for me and i think for everybody. I told you before, if you continue to play like this you will be looking to the top of the rankings buddy.

Maybe i wasn't at my best today but if i were, i might had stolen a set only, again too good. Congrats, with nakamura you are almost unstoppable!

riley108 vs patko7 in allianz suisse mss

Postby riley108 » Thu, 29 Jul 2010 19:34

played patko7 in the 1st round of the allianz suisse mss

1st set
very tight set, no break points some fairly long rallies but no threats to eachother serve, went to tie break i got the mini brak on the 1st point of patko serve and held on to take the set 76

2nd set

pretty much the same as the 1st except patko took the tie break

3rd set again pretty much the same as the 1st and 2nd except there were alot more rallies and both of us were putting pressure on eachothers serve to no avail again it went to the tie break, at 3-3 patko serve i took the point with short cross court return, i then hold my serve to matchpoint i serve on matchpoint and patko slams one down the line to save, but he then serves with matchpoint to me still i make a risk return down the line he gets to it and it turns in to a 15+ shot rallie witch i finally win a normal forehand down the line.. i won the match 76 67 76

patko7 is a very tough player i found it hard to get on to his serve, the match was very enjoyable but very tense, i hope never to meet patko in itst again

Mercedes Cup Final Tonedawg1 vs riley108 6-3 6-4
1set: after i hold immediately i break and couldnt break again as i was hitting the net and it made me very uncomfortable so i focused on holding and riley did a very good job returning at that point it was the first person to attack that would win the point and on my serve it was mostly me.

2nd set: i break again immediately then after shots just kept goin in the net or out  and riley gets a bp and luckily i served on the line when i needed it. it was a tiring match as i had to play very good on everything the last point was like 10+ shots then he missed a back hand down the line and if he had made it he would've won it in fact there were quite a few shots like that but anyways GREAT GAME riley :)

Wow just lost to Likos 67 6 3 67.

I have never crumbled like this in a match !

I was serving for the set ... for 6-4 had 4 set points

Won the second

Third set ... i serve for the match at 6 5 and double fault on break point

Tie break was a tense affair , had a 2 or 3 match points on his serve , crumbled in one long rally ...

Credit to Likos , who just never really gave up , he kept coming back for more , great fighting spirit, he remained calm when i was serving for the set and match ! Tough loss for me ...great win for you lol !

Well played and hope to play you soon.

You should improve your serve. That's not difficult. Create another character with better stats and train again and again and ull improve. That's a crucial shot.

Won my first rnd against Frank Velech at Legg Mason , 61 31 and he retired and i cant say im happy about winning it , its so difficult to play againt south america if u from Europe and i feel bad , tho i was winning quite easily, we disconnected a lot , and he was a very nice guy and understood it was just a nightmare having to restart games constantly , its often me that quits in these situations so i know how it feels , so just want to say how very sporting he was , and im sorry for winning in these circumstances , good luck for future events Frank :)
