Your soderling is great, no doubt about that !
The only thing i would say could need a wee bit of work, if you compare to what i improved based on your model is the face that is a bit thinner and especially the chin portion of soderling starts wide then goes down and gets much shorter, so from 3/4 looks a tad too square shaped, but that is all just nitpicking on an already great CAP !

On the other hand, nose is picture perfect, really 11/10, because it has got the little bump in the end and the slightly upward tilted nostrils like his IRL nose !

For ingame pics, i got a feature on my TV which allows to freeze the picture, then you can take your snapshot easily, try to look for it, sure you have it on your TV set.

Your gonzo is picture perfect for head shape, forehead, nose, mouth, chin, etc..., BUT i am not impressed like with your sod. Let me explain why ! 8)

What detracts is the size / proportion of the eyes : they are good but still discentered and above all 25% too big, giving your CAP a goofy/cartoony look where the rest of the face is distinctive !
I'd also give it a more grainy/older complexion so that he looks meaner like IRL, if you get what a mean

You obviously put a lot of work into it, so what is wrong with eye size, is it something impossible to get right on PS3 ?

Anyways, keep posting, i want to see your djoko V2 ASAP :)

I am a bit tired of making same Pros again so I think I'm gonna stay with that Soderling as he is really good in-game and not worth a retry only for a chin :P Same for Gonzo, I think he has already the look that makes him recognizable, that is enough no? what do you think? It would be silly to remake a pro only for a little eye portion decrease
Thnx for the compliments anyway, and also for all your help for me to improve on the next CAP's, that would be Djoko and maybe Melzer soon ;)

your welcome

fine by me for not doing the same pro over and over  ...i know the time it takes, so don't fall into my kind of sick perfectionism  , as long as they look good in game for you, after all, you do them for playing them, right !

Djoko2 and Melzer will be nice to see...
made a good looking melzer once, did not keep the pic but i have him in mind
I'd be interested to see if you could pull off a good sampras or a good edberg 2...

Your Djoko is impressive except he looks kinda cross-eyed. You just need to pull his pupils a little further wide or something or if you try reducing the size of the eyes a bit then it might not be as noticeable.
Nice attempt at Melzer too 8) . I would imagine he is very tough to do as he has some very odd features. Actually, I must attempt creating a version of him myself. Haven't made any new players lately.

Melzer is great, i am sure it looks pristine ingame ! :D
Just the eyes look a bit weird again, but i know it is the hardest part.

About Djoko, i am still not 100% convinced, but it is better clearly

I prefer Djokovic Version 1, excellent creation.

Good effort on Melzer, must be very difficult... My construction comment is that your player's face is too chubby

Thanx for positive comments, I really enjoy playing Melzer and I think I'm gonna stay with it.... but for Djokovic, I am still not satisfied but I won't make a new version that soon. Thinking of Del Potro but that is really a huge challenge :(

What is your Gamertag Sam? Why don't you enter some tournaments here? I think you will expose your player to a bigger audience this way. Some people don't visit the forums that often.

Hi there again ... a nice MELZER Indeed Sam someone ive been thinking of creating for a while now just have nt yet

Soz @ not posting in a while just that ive not much to post asin pics/shots @ the mo

& theres been some real interesting updates, :) nice this thread is back on track

& now back to page 50 >

VILARCANE wrote:Thanks sam,

Now that i am almost finished and only have one usable slot left, i can somehow try and sort/rate my own collection of CAPs :

From the most striking lookalike to the "good but i know i can do better" ones" (second half) 8)

1 Ferrero
2 Moya
3 Soderling
4 Murray
5 Verdasco
6 Agassi
7 Stosur
8 Santoro
_______________
9 Gonzales
10 Tsonga
11 Hewitt
12 Nadal
13 Forget
14 Isner
15 Wawrinka
16 Edberg

I cannot get anywhere near close a decent djokovic, and i do not know why exactly (apart from his strange alien head shape maybe, which cannot be reproduced)
So if mack or sam could do a good one that could inspire me like for my soderling :D
I mean Mack is going in the right direction with his Nole attempt, but we are still far from a good result like his delpo or mahut.

If i could get him right, i would be at peace with myself you know

ViL you know im a big fan of your stuff they are all good works , its good info above ...so RESPECT

PS : Sam any chance you post STATS / Build formular for your MELZER always interesting to know it for reference
