Love it or hate it, BUFFALO '66 is cold and creepy as hell. Not a huge Vincent Gallo fanboy or anything but this is one of my favorites.

this scene is superb

Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

Hahaha man that line about the 'shifter cars' is maybe my favorite line in the whole movie. It's so DAMN funny in it's own very strange way.

'I'm used to LUXURY cars...have you ever heard of a LUXURY car?'

'I drive cars that shift themselves'

He just met this girl and he's already starting with the lies

I saw Poltergeist yesterday, i don't know if it meant to be scary or sci-fi i wasn't scared at all, well almost that little psychic lady was a bit scary:

the favorite part of the movie, cause it reminds me of the ring:

The movies that are purposefully trying to be a 'horror' movie or 'scary' movie are usually the least scary. I never found Poltergeist frightening either, kinda cheesy actually...

This movie didn't necessarily scare me but it definitely made me feel a little...um...uncomfortable.

'Irréversible', 2002

Most insane rape scene, of all time.

Most insane 'Guy gets head crushed repeatedly by huge gas tank' scene, of all time.

This Monday's installment of "Monday's Obscure Movie Recommendation"®©TM.

An oldie, but a damn goodie...

The 1975 flick has been in the news of late as a remake is in the works - a remake that will be directed by the great David Fincher. Can't wait. :P

I watched this yesterday after downloading it over the past month or so... Started out so slow I almost gave up on it! Should have watched the trailer first to get more of an idea what it was about, but it had me almost in tears during a couple parts.

"The Minister would like to see you now."
"Already???"

LMAO!

Very well done, if a little cheesy.

Today's "Monday's Obscure Movie Recommendation"®©TM...

Image
A film written by (and about) one of my favorite writers/drunks, Charles Bukowski. Also stars one of my favorite actors, Mickey Rourke.

Wanda (Dunaway): "I can't stand people. I hate them.
Henry (Rourke): "Oh yeah."
Wanda (Dunaway): "Do you hate them?"
Henry (Rourke): "No, but I seem to feel better when they're not around."

Released in 1987, it grossed only $3,221,568 at the box office.

Great movie.

Trailer...

I look at these sorta clips and films and i wonder if they just put goryness before actual storylines , and i think thats what they do a lot in the last 10 yrs or so , im not saying that they arent good but i think a lot of the "recent " horror films of late i.e 10 15 yrs are just gorefests and not really "scary " because of a lack of storyline or one thats decent

I agree, but the reality is that gore sells....how many saw films are there now? 6? too many....it is all about the gore and shock factor, story 2nd. Now all you need is a pretty chick, tight ripped clothing, covered in blood, running for her life....and you have a hit  ...heck I watch the saw movies just to see what new torture contraptions they come up with, the story is too convoluted for me...
