agreed, i wouldn't want to be kicked like that in the chest though hehe...

btw goa, how are numbers distributed commonly in germany (if it changes at all) here they are like this
-------1
4---2---6---3
-------5--------
8-------------11
-------10-------
---7-----------
----------9

because i saw you wrote something about holland's "double 6" while talking about van bommel and de jong...which here it's called double 5...

were you talking about the players??

i don't know much about football and i guess here it is like you said, maybe what he says it something like this i am not sure, and i repeat i don0t know nothing about numbering in football:

-------1
2---3---4---5
-------6--------
7-------------8
-------10-------
---9-------11--

You guys need to watch some MMA if you think that was anything close to something that resembles a fatal blow :P

That's a standard Karate front kick. Plus cleats.

This gives me a great idea....can you imagine MMA Soccer? Everything's legal- elbows, sweeps, Muay Thai clinches, SUBMISSIONS, soccer kicks ( )....Americans would definitely watch it

i forgotten name from the game.
maybe it was on ps1 or supernintendo . definitifly a older console .

in this football game you had to foul in a hardcore way. as more brutality ,as better it is for your team
shit can´t remember the name from the game. but the game was still funny to play

in europe the number 5 is traditional the libero (sweeper)
in todays football nobody is playing with libero .
the position 6 is the player before the defense !
a guy like van bommel or nigel de jong ,bastian schweinsteiger ,
its a very techniquel position . and a fighter position .
some teams play with two of this guys .
in defense they attack the opponent midfielders -they stopp them ,not allways like de jong it did- but their goal in defense is to stopp the offense midfielders from opponent
also they work in offense - in offense they start the game. they open the game with smart passes.
thisplayers are very importent .for every team !!
every team have this kind of player.

this is the traditionell german standard number system
---------------1------------------.
2--------------4---------------3
---------5----------6----------
------8---------10-----------
7-------------------------------11
--------------9-----------------

from this starterposition ,you can switch to every actuell modern system

It's not a soccer game so I don't think this is the particular one you're talking about, but your description of it does fit this game.

I've played quite a bit of it on the Atari Jag. Great game and a lot of fun.

Brutal Sports Football.

Wait for Germany, we are coming! :)
I guess in 4 years we will have our best team since 1990.

By writing this i was mostly thinking of you... ;)
I never thought i would say this but...I like that German Team!!I'm really a big "fan" of Mueller!!!Maybe that team needs another strong def midfield (When Mueller was out,Ballack would have made some good to Germany,i think),no?What are the "lacks" of that new "Wonder Team"? :D

EDIT :  Is that the correct way of writing? : "I never thought i would say this but...I like that German Team" ... sorry

The best edgy/extreme sports game of all-time has to be Deathrow - a mix of rugby, whirlyball and cage fighting. Played this game until my thumbs were raw. Tons of swearing (a bit controversial back in 2002) and a "Press B" option to give your opponent the finger. Nice. :)
