tonedawg def jewestbury 6-3 6-3
1 set well i was prepared for his drop shots and broke the first game then after that he started to drop shot then i was like ok ur not the only one who can do that so i did it too lol.
2nd set he gets like 90 % of returns in but they werent affective and i crushed them and i break with some lucky l2 shots . over all good game some good rallies. but he needs to vary serve MORE.
btw this was WS

Marlon was not at his best. I started strong and continued to push, somewhere around 4-0......Marlon lost his heart. Second set he tried to get himself going...but bottom line it was just not his day.

This is what happens in SIM....if one guy is completely off and another is completely on - the score reflects it perfectly.

Should it be a 40-90 match, we would still have to play at least one tie break, because of the power and serve.

I wish Marlon all the best and I wish he finds his heart/fire that makes him such a tough player and top contender at any tournament.
Level 13 Edberg and counting...

how djarvik said, marlon is off in this moment, for some reason his game is not as good as usual, but sure he will find his best level very soon.

Open de Nice Cote d Azur (MSS)

Likos defeats Tonedawg 7-6(3), 7-6(0) Cannon Vs Gray

1st set and 2nd set: Very similar sets with loads of rallies, cause teranga tennis court its very slow(hell i think its the slowest) and it was too hard to hit a winner. Both of us were putting pressure to each other serves(mostly to 30, sometimes deuce)

1st set tiebreak: Again rallies in tiebreak with each of us exchanging a lot of balls. The key to my success was some bh, fh down the line risks which brought me the 1st set.

2nd set tiebreak: I started very aggresively and risk my return to the opposite side(outwide serve and i l2+r2) thus getting the first mini break. Then all came naturally, as i was having lots of momentum. in the last point we had some crazy battle in the net and after 4-5 shots i managed to get it.

Its always a pleasure tonedawg, and you are one of the fairest players here on ITST.

Match statistics are gone cause of "some rain delays"

Good Game Man. You were mentally strong on big points.

The big moment was the set point i had at 5-6 30-40.

You have a good style you can reach the final.

Its a good performance. For me, my aim is winning Wimbledon with serve and volleyer striker.I need practise but i can do.

Played alex in Unicef open and lost 6-3 6-3. I used burns he was house. I had so many deuces on his serve and really pressured it in the 1st set. he got a quick break from some lame vollying from me and good passes, and held to take the set 6-3 and i felt truly robbed lol. I then went down a double break in the 2nd and got one back but couldnt get the 2nd. It was a fun and fair match, but my net game and serve is my strength and it let me down, whereas my returns and groundstrokes are usually weaker and they were on form, shame it cant all click!

but alex deserved to win. It was nice to make the world no1 uncomfortable though

hehe
