I want Soderling to win this one.
But I hear that Uncle Toni is working on a plan to improve Rafa's game.

Apparently, Andy Murray's service motion holds the key to any further progress.

Murray serves well, and it seems easy to execute

But Murray barely gets 50% first serves in, I'm sure Rafa would be looking for more consistency than that.

that's true.
but I also notice that he's usually amongst the leaders in 1st serve points won.
So I guess when it does eventually go in, it's pretty good.

I think easy to execute is most important part. He will never have a blistering serve because of him been right handed naturally.

yup, but if Murray himself, the originator of that service motion, barely only gets 50% 1st serves in, it probably shows that after all it's maybe not that easy to execute.

According to those stays above:
Rafa 1st serve: 67%
Murray 1st serve: 54%

but if we check the 1ST SERVE POINTS WON then Murray is the 7th with a 77%, Rafa needs to improve this stat

Also points one on 2nd serve is down to how good he is. Not his serve exactly.

Just imagine rafa with a roddick serve that would be just so unfair lol.

Roddick's 2nd serve is better than most guy's 1st serve. That's awesome.

this is true. Taking a few MPH off of it (notice how rarely he serves over say, 142 MPH now) to increase his % has been brilliant strategy

congrats to nadal, winning the red slam, returning to nr 1 rank next monday. now the question is if roger will ever return to beat sampra's record of weeks in 1st place of the rankings.

btw: agustin velloti(arg) won rg juniors event beatin andrea collarini(usa). he did not loose a set in the whole tnt, a future hope for argentinian tennis. collarini is also argentinian but after being 16 years in argentina decided to compete for usa.
