Djokovic playing mediocre again, why is it he felt the need to adjust his serve?

Ferrer out in three straight  Melzer v Gabashvilli for a place in the quarters.

Thank God! Soderling is not on Nadal´s side of the draw.
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

Hewitt still got a lot of skills and fight in him. I like how he never looks defeated, I never saw the match he got thrased by fed though. Some nice points, nadals forehand is just so nice. Especially that passing shot down the line. Also they need lights at rg god darn it. Henin sharapova match ends with split sets.

Hantuchova and Jankovic will be battling it out to reach the Quarter Finals and probably the Semi Finals because the winner wall either face unseeded Yarislava Shevedova or Wild Card Jamilla Groth.

Hantuchova has held the edge in their last two meetings, which coincidently were on clay. It is a Grand Slam though and Jankovic may have tricks up her sleeve. Hantuchova has played through the tournament brilliantly having a positive winner to error ratio throughout the tournament. Even having a 32 winner to 10 unforced errors in the second round. Jankovic on the other hand has not played that well at all.

In my opinion Hantuchova is the more talented player, and she will be the aggressor, if she can play well (hopefully) I'm pretty sure she can pull this one off.

Shevdova beat Jankovic at he US Open though so it's not a foregone conclusion. Hantuchova has a good recent record against the Serb but a QF place would be quite a big deal for her so I'm not convinced her nerve will hold.

Also I was quite impressed with Sharapova and her battling against Henin, but if Henin finds her best she should run away with it

I'm sure the Sharapova vs Henin, will be a mental battle. But a confident Sharapova should beat Henin, even on clay. The ironic thing is that Henin's had a perfect record in winning sets at Roland Garros starting with her beating Sharapova in 2005, now 5 years later the record ends at the hand of Sharapova. It was funny to see Maria drop shot and volley her way into winning that second set, definitely something she should incorporate more into her game.

Yes Henin had won 40 consecutive sets

Sharapova has improved the volley quite a bit but Henin started playing to central, when she moved Sharapova about there was only one winner.

i wonder why they can't continue play in light drizzle? they have to water the clay anyway, and its not like they have to worry about it becoming slippery.
