Can't you just ban excessive cheesers. I'm not saying if they just do one or two matches but constantly do it even though told, I know not against rules but it sucks fun out of it, go chinese government on their ass

I just finished my match with marlonbrando91 6-1 6-7

I must say that back in the day, ITST wasn't like this, every match win or lose was such a great experience. I remember last year I played DJ in the Q's of the french open or something like at and I took the 1st 2 sets but he came back and beat me, that was a match that i'll never forget... such fun, and pure simulation of tennis. This was my 2nd match with marlon and the 1st set it was clean tennis, and I won easily. The 2nd set however, it was like he got disparate...he risked sliced my serves, all risk during rallies, I had like 3 break points on his serve in the 2nd set and each one was saved by timely drop shots that were executed when he was playing defense behind the baseline. I dont mind losing, but I want it to be because I was out rallied, lets construct points, not because of silly shots.....I hit a deep baseline shot and he was stumbling to get to the ball, and his back was turned to me and he hit a drop shot to win the point, am I to applaud that :?: So many are concerned on winning and being in the 10 ten, but at what cost? Why is sportsmanship being thrown out of the window? I give props to those players who put up with all the cheesy players on the tour because I don't have the patience for it

This is the VERY thing though. People KNOW its cheap, know its a easy way to get free points and get out of trouble, yet they still persist in doing it. A lot of players have come here and played cheap but when they realised they was going to get no respect for their wins they changed their game, so credit to them. I think brgerflipr said it, if you want to win, and win only and dont care about coming across as a colossal ass and a borderline cheat, then carry on. If you want to play a simulation of tennis then just change, or at least keep that **** on MS, not sim.

The thing is, literally everyone here could cheese, and be good at it. But it would be no fun. Its like on COD if everyone camped, there would be no game at all as everyone would be hiding in corners. That could easy happen here, the tour devolving into *huge out wide serve* *risk slice* then either win the point outright or scrape back a easy shot to be missiled away. Every match would end 6-7 7-6 6-7 as it would come down to who got the most lucky risks in in the tiebreak.

brgerflipr wrote:Great, another one. There seems to be a cancer of cheesers, risk slicers & dropshotters infecting the tour. Who knows, maybe this is the future. Now that's a sad thought.

Maximo, why would you even play one friendly w/ this guy if he plays like that? You're too nice. I'd rather punch myself in the balls 10 times before I waste my time playing w/ risk slicers & dropshotters.

But maybe he doesn't know. I'm sure if enough people told him nicely that its not considered fair, then hed stop. If he doesn't, then its back to punching the balls. :-)

Because in our first matches he was not abusing of these shots, but little by little he has been using increasingly these shots, in our last match I adviced him about this, and his answer was, ok, but it is not forbiden.

I dont want to talk with this.

How can you be unrespect about me.The first set you won so its clean lesson tennis from you, the second you lost so its cheesy (after amazing rallys tie break i won).So you leave.

My stamina was destroying you in second set and i was dominating the rallyies.I try to play complete game with risk shots, no risk shots, dropshots, cross court, slice (with the Button), et go for the volley.

You have another style from baseline same pace for each shots. Each his style.

I dont want to defend me.Its cool you give a good report with lies part.Gentlemen.

Your a great player. But Please, don't make dirty my reputation in this community.

Ciao tutti
