I like Mini-Monfils better  He is a bit more come and has what looks to me like a lot of potential. Look for this kid do start doing well, very soon.

BTW - Monfils obviously has an advantage playing in the dark  not fair!

...soooo why don't they have light on RG again?
Level 13 Edberg and counting...

Dent has been terrible lately... he actually started the year fairly well with 3 set losses against Monfils and Benneteau, but since his wife had their baby in February he has been awful. He lost to 35 year-old Joseph Sirianni in a challenger!

His first serve % is typically around 30 in the first set, so he tries to serve less aggressively, and loses. Simple as that.

Didn't see this match but I don't like Fabio Fognini, he just does crap like that all the time...throws little temper tantrums and sh*t

i was watching Fognini-Monfils...I state i don't like Fognini even if he is italian...
but yesterday the match had to be stopped on 4-4...he was right...it was really dark...u can't play a match with those conditions...and all the other matches have been stopped 25 min before...and the light on central court is worst then on the other courts

I wonder why don't RG have light every year...it's ridiculous...many times it's happened that it was necessary to stop a match...
match is distorted...absolutely...
if a player has physical problems,he has advantages...for example monfils had cramps instead today he will not...but physical conditions is not part of the game?
really ridiculous

Those last 2 games were awful to watch btw. Monfils serving at a blistering 122 km/h (76 mph), and Fognini not daring to take even the slightest amount of risk, but instead letting Monfils into the point, despite having 3 matchpoints and the fact that Monfils wasn't really moving well...
But yes, it was really dark out there.

Ah well, don't really care who proceeds to the next round.

The crowd at Roland Garros is evil, they boo everyone.

And any player who looks like they might have a chance against Justine Henin. They even booed Safina in her match two days ago. And no no other tournament in the world would have fans that boo an 18 year old until she burst out crying. Nothing can condone what they did to Hingis.

That's what makes this tournament so special. My heart goes warm thinking about all the evil french people that finally have a chance to express their discontent about just everything. 8)

But the worst crowd I've seen (on tv) is the Davis cup-crowd in Argentina. When they met Sweden, in Bouenos Aires, a couple of years ago the crowd was completely crazy and extremely un-sportsmanlike. Totally off the charts. And the person fueling that was none other than the craziest Argentinian of them all...Diego Maradona. :D

Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.
