Moving Forward: ITST Management

As most of you know by now, Rob has stepped down from the position of ITST Manager. Rob did an exceptional job maintaining the site, and we certainly thank him for that. He will be missed.

Life at the ITST does go on however, so changes are forthcoming.

Slicer and myself are currently discussing plans and options for the future. At the moment, these plans include the possibility of adding (as many as) three members to the management staff. Two of the positions would be of Senior Host; the third, ITST Manager.

The Senior Hosts will be involved in the creation of tournaments, oversee the overall progress of tournaments and help moderate the forums. The Senior Host would also be a focal point for other hosts with regard to any problems/concerns they may encounter.

Given that the role of ITST Manager would require an elevated level of experience, it’s conceivable that this position will eventually be filled by a Senior Host.

While Slicer and I continue to hash this out behind the scenes - and until all three positions are filled - I will be acting as the ITST Manager.

As Interim Manager, please direct any ITST related questions/concerns to me. As Site Administrator, Slicer will continue to do most of his heavy lifting behind the scenes.

I'll keep you abreast of any future developments.
